Dude, mapquest is your friend. If you take I75 to the Turnpike (South), the to I4, it will lead you right to Race Rock. Here's a map.

so what time should we go inside and eat?

1PM?

I mean theres probly going to be 60+ people with passengers
and spectators............

Don't know how much seating race rock can set aside for us
maybe split into groups of # and diffrent times to eat?

Roger I think it will all have to do with how many people are there by what time. You have to give everyone else time to get there. We don't want the same thing to happen like last time. Some people got there a lil late and the crew got all split up.

Obviously cars are gonna be split up once they leave the property due to traffic unless we have a police escort (yah right!). So any activities should be preplanned so everyone knows where to go. I probably will just be going straight home because driving around in the heat of the afternoon with no A/C has lost it's appeal to me.

Timeline suggestion

RaceRock is busy enough as it is on the weekend, and floooding them with 50-70 people during the busy time will ultimately make EVERYONE unhappy. I'd strongly recommend that the norm for RX owners be to have a late breakfast and shoot for as late as possible for lunch, lest we suffer the tailend of the busy lunch hour.

Though, I'd defer to Jerry who has the lead on this event, I'd submit that we should plan for a late lunch (2:00-3:00) to account for straggler while providing Race Rock a manageable number of covers over the entire lunch cycle. They have excellent food and decent service, but it's hard for any restaraunt to seat such a large influx of covers and still maintain quality (food and service).

And now back to my 3rd coat of Zaino...

Probably not. I don't go there any more, but I know there was a thread a while back on how many RX-7 owners go to UCF.

Race Rock said they were willing to set aside all the space for us. It's just a matter of if everyone gets there at by time we asked for it. We can plan for lunch around a little later, but I'm not sure if we need to wait until 2 or 3 PM.

If we can get a consensus on a preferred eating time, that will help me when I talk to Race Rock again the week of the event.

Jerry

i'd say around 2:30. That way it gives anybody coming at 1:00 time to mingle and check out cars.

I'll be at UCF. I don't know if you remember, but you met me when I asked you about your nopistons shirt during a tour of the campus. I saw a montego blue FD in the parking lot during summer session too.
