I find it sad that....*gets distracted by the beautiful yellow Lambo Murch. at the light* when I forgot to copy down Rey's number, I asked this guy at 7-11 where Race Rock was, and he thought I was asking where the restroom was. I liked it. My main reason to come was to see [insert pic of Rey's car] BUT WAIT, I also wanted to meet the man who ran this machine, but OH NO, he wasn't there. I came by myself first, and his hood was up, I leave to go pick up a friend with his FC....the one with the Supra tail light conversion, and next thing I see....Rey's hood is down. Thank you, Rey...thank you. Joke. I liked it overall....I wasn't the only black guy there. Rejoice. Though, on the other hand, my friend wanted to leave because there weren't that many girls there. That rotary Miata was sweet. So when's the next meet?

I was thinking the samething. With 60 more, or less people on the list, I was expecting parking to be impossible.....what happened to all of those people? No more taking other members in caravans, dangit. Drive your own dang cars. heh..jk.

i can attest to being one who couldn't show, sry about that guys, i really wanted to go but have been tight on money lately and I couldn't spare the money for gas to make it this time. Hopefully i'll be able to come to the next one. Glad to hear you all had a good time.

I think the meet was great considering we had a cat3 storm lurking in the coast. I think alot of people came but they rode with someone vs. driving their own rides. Anyways, it was GREAT meeting you guys and I wish I could have mingled more. Can't wait 'til the next one.

Oh and by the way... I'm glad there weren't that many girls there 'cos I had you all you myself. LOL J/K

Rey/Jerry: thanks for putting this together.

I'm not sure what you expected (probably something like HIN or NOPI) but since the rotary community is a faily small one and we just like getting together once and awhile. If you want pure show cars go to the events mentioned above as they don't usually show up for parking lot events. Most of us are proud of our cars and just like to get out with them. Perhaps one day we can do a rural cruise (as it would be a pain in the ***) to keep everyone together in a city setting. Maybe a Daytona get together and cruise. Nice to see the 8's out and ejoyed seeing everyone again. Jack

Funny, we actually had more than half of the people that were on the list show up. Even without the storm you can usually only count on half, with the storm I didn't even think that many would show up. Pleasantly surprised and thanks to Rey and Jerry for throwing it together (the only thing that came together quicker was) KATRINA ! ! ! !

Glad most of you had a great time. We couldn't have asked for better weather!!! I mean it was hot, but we had some breeze atleast, and I got a tan! lol.

Thank you for the compliments but to be honest, Jerry set the date, and we all ran with it. I just called, and pm'ed a hella of alot of peole to let them know about the meet. Thank you Jerry, for calling Race Rock and letting them use their facility. So.... who's ready for the next one?

I was glad to see all the Generations show up, and especially the 8's. The meet was great all around and Race Rock really handled our orders efficiently.

The best part of the day was FDRey opening up his house to all of us after the meet. Tell your 'Ma and Grandma the food was delicious, much more generousity than any of us expected Rey!

eDit: Everyone went to Rey's house? This is the last time I bring someone with me.

What a fun day! My highlight was getting rides in both Miatas! What fun set-ups they are. Also, Tom (montego blue FD) had a beautiful car/ engine set -up! It was great to see everyone and meet some new people! I counted 50 cars @ 12:30. Great turn out considering the weather scare. Yes, the weather was great yesterday. That little breeze helped alot. Thanks to Race Rock for the parking lot and good food/service. Rey, thanks again for the "after party" . Tell your folks thanks again!

hahaha, that was pretty damn funny. I think I got to see for myself how Kabooski cuts 1.4 60fts at the track. Any time you guys want to come over again, you're more then welcome to. I'm glad you all didn't mind the drive over, but I promised you it was worth it didnt I?

Glad you could stick around longer Raj. I know you had the furthest drive home out of the bunch. It was nice seeing you again bro, it had been a while. I'll keep in touch and let you know when I do take that lil trip down to West Palm.

Did you come and introduce yourself? I am trying to put a face with the name. I met a lot of cool people that day. And BY FAR the cleanest FC out there was the S5 red one from Gainsville with only 23k original miles!!!

I tell ya, that was one of the better Saturdays i've had in a while. I'm glad to have shared it with all of you other rotary driven fanatics. Hopefully next time i'll have mine running so I won't look like such an outcast.

Rey, tell your family thanks for the food & letting all of us chill. They make one hell of a mean meal.

If all goes well there will be another RX coming out of my camp. Thanks for the inspiration. It was about time for the misses to get back on the right track

when it comes to appearing at meets, I'm not all the sociable. It takes a lot for me to actually walk up an talk to people. But, I know that I didn't really meet any people, just asked a little bit of questions and went walking around again. Had to leave to go pick up a friend of mine who doesn't know his way around Orlando. He was the one that drove the White TII with the Supra tail lights. I don't think i saw the red one. I'm pretty sure I didn't see it.

Forgot to mention, riding behind Josh's car with those silencers on is a dangerous thing. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Next time i'll know to not sit behind you on a three car line up with those silencers in. BTW, Rey nice pull out from the corner. I was hearing your car echoing in my head all the way till I woke up this morning. Oh and as soon as you left your boy with the AE86 pulled up. That thing is absolutely striped.
