ATTN east tennessee guys
I think the time has come to TRY to get another rx7 meet together. I have noticed that there are many new Rx7 owners in our area, and it would be a great opportunity to get to know them. Please give me some feedback, so we can set something up. I would like to see more 2nd gen owners come out also. I know that there should be a few 2nd gen inthusiasts around here. Maybe we could welcome some of our rx8 bretheren also.

OK, well the big question is WHEN AND WHERE? I know that Dec. is a very busy time, and usually the weather isnt that great, but maybe we can get together on Dec. 10th at Quaker Steak and Lube, Eat some grub, and if the weather is nice, take a little cruise. Im not much on deals gap anymore, but im sure we could find somewhere around here to take a good cruise.
On second thought, maybe we can have a meet at Rotary Resurrection! The alabama guys have BNR, we have Rotary Resurrection!
I would also love to have a SE regional get together. I was down in ATL for the supra shootout last weekend, and it was great to see so many car inthusiasts in one area. I just wish Rx7 owners were that close!

The lube is close to my house so that sounds real good. I just got a 90 GTU running with a used engine. A buddy of mine is going to buy it from me and that money is going into the turbo 7. I am just glad I saved another RX-7 from going to the junk yard.

i would really enjoy the chance to come hang with you guys. my 85 gsl-se is kinda hurting at the moment.. i am going to learn quick how to do my own maintenance. the biggest problem being lack of garage and no lift and jack stands. i will keep checking this section so i can keep up.

Phil, I have been contemplating this for some time now. I was thinking probably next fall but havent set any dates for sure. I was considering the idea of a dyno day, dragstrip day, and possibly an auto x and show and shine. It would be great if someone wanted to help me out with this. I will start looking into this a whole lot more come the first of the year. let me know if you would be interested in getting together on this and having a huge southeast meet if possible.
Scott, I am down for a local meet just let me know when. Plus are you still coming tomorrow to install the motor for me?
Thanks

BTW, when will you ladies need these turbos I have here? I assume one set is going on the rebuilt motor you're installing? I will need the manifold(s) as well...
Oh, the gasket kit was left laying here when the engine was picked up, so if you need that, you know where it is.
