Hey guys, I might be comming down there to check out an RX-7 for sale in the Area, I was wondering if anyone in the area could meet up with me to give me a good evaluation of the car, or someplace I could take it to have it fully checked out before I buy it.

Which generation RX-7 ? I'm pretty good with 2nd gens. I can also borrow a friends Mazda rotary specific compression tester. I think her charges somewhere in the $50-$75 range to use it, but you get all 6 numbers which is a big plus.

Well, sadly, I thought the car was in Atlanta, but I was mistaken, there was one for sale on Auto Trader, listed as Atlanta, but in fact the car's in London.... So, no deal on that one. I'm not going to buy a car without driving it first.

I charge 50 for fb/na fc and 75 for turbo2 and fd, fd's have to beup in the air so the plugs are more accesable.

But you'll only charge $50 on a 20B with all the emissions removed, since it's quite easy to get to the plugs.

I'm not looking for specifics, David, but might you be around for NOPI? I'm planning to come down for that and was hoping to catch up with some of you.

dude. that is a scam from hell. i tried to contact the guy as well, DEFINATELY a scam. after realizing it was i started to ask more serious questions and he never respinded. i asked for the VIN and more pics, guess he couldnt do it since the ad is fake. oh well. if it would have been real you best bet i would have gotten to it first
