Well crap, I forgot about that. I guess I'll use Ben's checkered cloth door panels and everything else (console, carpet, hatch trim, etc) but your headliner, if that's cool. I won't know until I'm in Lilburn just what Ben's interior needs, but I'd appreciate it if you can work with me a little - I'm just not sure what I'll need other than the headliner.

The worst thing about the car is the suspension and little fasteners, which seem to have rusted much faster than the body. I think I'll take my compressor out there and tear the axle out while I'm at it.

Okay, change of plans. The new SE's here, and needs some love. If I can find a 6-port core, flywheel and clutch, there's a WHOLE LOT of assembly to do.....

I laid it all out for inspection, and it really does look like I have everything. The harness needs to be wrapped and I need gaskets for intake parts, but it's all ready to go with a core. Found one in SC, but it's just too far away. If I could have stopped on the way back, I would have. Oh well. If y'all know of an engine around here, let me know. any 6-port will do.

It's official. I've got a harness, a good engine, two sets of manifolds, rats nests, injectors, etc (enough that I should be able to cover if something's forgotten) and it's going in on Sunday. If anyone has an SE exhaust around here I might be interested. Free beer and grease stains !! Once all this 1st-gen nonsense is done, it'll be back to the 2

Crit, Thompson Trim Shop in Lawrenceville has done good work for my over the years.
However the reasonableness of their prices seems to vary for no apparent reason.

I think the only thing that the RX-2 needs is a headliner professionally installed. I've got carpet and doorskins that I can lay up myself. Think they'd be good for a headliner?

Aww crap. I officially need a hand, I think. The SE's all plumbed up, but I'm at the bottom of the EFI learning curve. If someone's got the gift for troubleshooting an non-starting 6-port, please let me know.
