ATL - Anyone know an emissions guy?

I'm looking to pick up a GSL-SE in the near future, but they don't often have emissions equipment on them. If anyone knows a guy willing to pass an 84 car, please shoot me a PM.

Thanks,
Crit

1986 and older, you do not need a title and I do not believe you have to pass emissions as it's technically considered antique.

You could just register it in a county that doesn't require emissions...Jackson county does not.

In order to register in another county, I have to reside there with a bill, or have that county on my driver's license. GA emissions are required for 25-year old cars. For 2009, which is the year I'd be renewing for, 1984 is the cutoff for what has to pass.

I looked up the regulation HERE.

I'm not sure if I have to pass or not, but I'm definitely on the bubble. The GCAF law says that vehicles 25 model years or older are exempt, which would make an 84 or older exempt for 2009. I think, though, that I'm registering for 2008, though the sticker says 2009 because that's the expiration - I don't know.

If anyone has a GSL-SE exhaust that they're willing to let me use, I'd be very apprecative (only need it for a day )

Emissions suck. Rotaries should be exempt.

Ideally, I need to find one of two things:

1.) S3 air pump (if it's any different) SE shutter valve and emissions hardware, SE exhaust manifold, and any S3 exhaust from there back (I assume they'll all work, given a little mangling or welding)

2.) Someone local that can help me out by minimizing the amount of hardware necessary

Yes, I've got the SE but I need a block and exhaust. I have lots of spares and all the other hardware. Pics will be available once I get some time with a camera.
