My friend is hosting a car show/meet on June 4th at the Asheville Mall (in asheville NC). It will be in one of the "back" parking lots. (Easy to find if u enter the mall behind IHOP) The time of the meet will be from 12 noon til 5 pm (if not later). I believe there might be a few contest, but i'm not sure.

I just wanted to pass the word on here and invite everyone. This is not an exclusive RX-7 meet...its open to all cars and car clubs, so feel free to invite any tuners or car lovers.

If anyone needs directions, feel free to ask.

as far as i know, the guy who's putting it all together did one a while back. Said the turn out was pretty good. Of course most shows are only as fun as those who show up make it!

On a side note... Anyone in the asheville area know of a red FD that got busted at about 150mph or so? A "friend" of mine was on his bike and the FD was running with him when they passed under a pass and 2 state troopers

Just wondering if the driver went to jail or not?

I just sold my FD and there is no way i am gonna roll up in my Corolla DX. Mine was red with bodykit on but i never got pulled over doing 150 MPH plus.

Dave...as ur 'friend' if it was on i240 thru asheville, starting with the cut thru beaucatcher mtn, and the state troopers where getting on at the mall exit headed towards I40... if it was, then that was me!!! and no, i didnt get pulled, i slowed down and kept the cops in front of me and got off at the next exit and went on my merry little way to a movie!!! we were doing close to 150?? (my speedo doesn't work!!!)
