April is going to be crazy for me and probably anybody else going to school... A bunch of tests, projects and finals. Sometime in May would be better!

 

^exactly, the last two weeks of April is going to be finals for me so I wont be able to make the drive. I can more then likely make the drive in May assuming my car isnt in the body shop.

 

Well I guess that maybe the beginning of June is a better time. April and May seem to be busy with school graduations and things like that. I'll keep an eye on this thread for when everyone wants to get together. I know Brian wants to have his car together before the next meet, so June should give him enough time.

hey man , how many 7 in jax? I went sat night and only saw two , one red fd whom i outran and one red 2nd gen got pullrd over by cops. I like to go to a meet if possible. I really like meeting rotorheads and their cars.

 

^ where did you go? i often attend the gathering at the sonic on beach blvd. theres usually at least 1 other 3rd gen there.

Metting in late May, early June seems to be the best idea.

Now that I'm back in town for good *yay*, I'll be at the meet on Sat night if I can make it. Even though my second gen isn't pretty to look at, she's mine and I love her

yo tk7 i was at sonic on beach also but i didnt make it until midnight.
i hadn't ever been to jax on a sat night just cruising , mainly go there for the beach, mall, parts ect. One of my buddies called me about 10 or so and asked if i wanted to follow him down there so i did and damn!! Import heaven never seen so many imports in one spot other than a really big car lot.
I went to watch a couple of guys drift, and attempted also but new tires on rear made me worrybecause they are really soft and my clutch will slip and spin tires at same time, so i cut a few brodies and left it at that.

 

^ im sometimes there at 12. but we usually get bored before then and go eat somewhere. lol

ive never witnessed a race from that meet. everyone just talks and some idiots do burnouts and rattle their trunk with their walmart special stereos. its actually pretty ghetto......

 

tk7 , will you be out tinight, im probably gonna leave about 830 and head that way.
if so what will you be in? I'll be in a black t2 stock , along with a white ranger with air bags and a silver s14.

 

I know I'm not part of this conversation, but I came to check this thread... I would think all rangers come with air bags or am I missing something here

Ok, so...... June is a good time. Everyone check their schedules so we can decide on a date. Is Cecil Feild still good for everyone? If so, I'll reserve one of the pavillions (not that I think they need to be, but just in case). For those who didn't come to the last meet and haven't been there, The CF picnic area has a large parkng area and is by a lake. They have big grills there and there are area's for horseshoes and volleyball (if anyone wants to do those things...). Also, there is a place to pull up by the lake to take some good pics. Best of all, the picnic area is kinda secluded and out of the way so it shouldn't be crowded.

yeah, definately in may...i just need some stock body parts if anyones got em? s5 bumper, TII hood. yeah bill, i got my car runnin again so i can make it

 

what the forking hail, wnet to j ville this weekend and saw no other rx7's and on top of that got murked by the black mercury marauder thanks to an over adjusted slippin clutch. He pulled about foru lengths in second and third before i let off . he asked if i wanted to go again b/c he saw my shotty start but i refused .
I then adjusted my clutch on the spot and smoked two hondas accidentally and one orange boosted 93-95 three door civic at 10 psi . Went for rematch with mercury and cops ran us off and then i lost the idiots who followed me down and finally found them about 1:30 am went to 103rd and saw no one out.

and to anyone ive mentioned sonic. i wont be up there for a few weeks. waiting on brakes.....mine are getting dangerous.

 

Well, the end of May is going to be pretty busy- Memorial Day weekend, schools getting out. etc, etc.

How about May 31 or June 7? Those are Saturdays. How bout it??

May 31st sounds good, my little brother's graduation is the day before so that works out good so I can just take the first part of the weekend off in one week.
