I need to get some brake rotors machined down 1/8" in diameter, is there a place local that can do this?

 

I think Tire Kingdom, Sears, Tires Plus do that...

 

Most napa's will machine brake rotors, they also machine flywheels.

 

i dont think any napa, sears, ect could do that. Yeah the can machine the face but not diameter. Your best bet is going to look for a local machine shop there should be plenty less than an hour drive from you.

Most will not touch them for liability reasons. You may be told to take a hike by a good number of shops before you find one that will.

bishop machine shop in conyers or hi tech machine shop in lithonia. both of these shops are full machine shops equiped with cnc machines.

 

Cool, thanks for the info guys, Im probably just gonna get a new set of rotors made though from Coleman Racing. colemanracing.com They can make them any size I would need. Im just gonna send them mine and say make them same size but 1/8" smaller in dia. I think they get about $350 a set for custom rotors.
