Anyone interested in tickets for 24 Hours of Daytona?
Everyone,
A friend of mine in Tucson, AZ and his wife bought 2 packages to this year's 24 Hours of Daytona back in November, only to have him enter the hospital in early December with extreme pancreatitis. He is STILL in the hospital and will not be able to attend. He's asked me to try and sell his tickets. Package includes 2 grandstand seats, reserved parking and pit access. He said he paid $250 for the two tickets and is willing to sell the pair for $125. Let me know if anyone is interested. PM me for details.

Yea, thanks. Serious is an understatement. It was truly touch and go for several weeks, however he's now making steady progress. So, no one need to save $125, or has everyone already bought tickets? Shoot us an offer and I'll pass along the info.

i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, my brother was in the hospital for a year straight while trying to recover. something about your internal organs turning to jello and having to heal back just makes me sick thinking about it. he lost about a hundred pounds after all said and done and still has to deal with physical therapy years after it happened.
sidetrack bump for ya, heh.

Anyone else out there going to 24Hrs who might help a fellow rotorhead out and save some cash in the process? Keep us mind, and let me know. Make an offer...

unfortunately that is how pancreatitis goes, he had a relapse about a year after he got out of the hospital while he was at the hospital for a routine checkup(luckily, so the damage was very minor), but by then it was so minor that he was out the next day. at the worst point he had to be resuscitated and his wife given the option of taking him off life support.
just stay positive, i'm sure he will be fine but it will be a long battle. the whole thing was a huge rollercoaster ride.
wish i could help but i recently had to purchase a car i wasn't anticipating on having to do.

Back to 24 hour tickets. Anyone? No one's going this year who's interested in saving $125 and putting it towards beer money??

Package includes 4 day wristband, general admission in stadium seating along with walk-infield access, Fanzone and IMSA garages. Does not include infield parking, but they did buy an outside 4 day parking pass for Jan 26 through Jan 29. Responded to one IM and awaiting their reply.
