anyone here a welder?

I need someone or info on somewhere i can have made a custome intake and exhaust manifold for my 6port s5 na...i have a turbo, yes im turbo charging my na...with a sylvia turbo non the less...Only planning on running a small amount of boost however, not a big chance of detonation. I really would like to keep this a local thing, as i will want a welder in the future for other things for mi coche.

Also i need a good place locally i can have a turbo rebuilt, any suggestions?

thanks in advance guys

I wouldnt recommend boosting your NA... you are taking quite a chance on that motor blowing up....

I'm a welder, I have experience in MIG and TIG welding. Unfortunatley, I don't have my own equipment. I'd reccomend investing in a welding class at some community or voccational school if I were you; so long as the price isn't too expensive for class. The stuff you learn will last you a lifetime; plus it may allow you to make some extra cash from time-to-time.

I live in the Alabama area (maybe soon to be the Indiana area) so I cannot help you. If you have the moeny to invest in the training as well as a welder of your own, I'd suggest you do it.

Just out of curiousity, why do you want an intake manifold made if you're going to be running really low boost? I could see if you're staying NA and you wanted to ....maybe run some ITB's for the intake ports, but the positive pressure of the turbo should help make up for any....laziness...of the air inside the intake manifold.

You may want to look at this: https://www.rx7club.com/general-rotary-tech-support-11/heres-how-figure-out-intake-runner-length-199788/

Also, you said Silvia turbo...that's not a T25 is it?? That'll choke, it's too small for RE.

Just a thought:

You might consider calling up Enjuku racing and seeing if they'd be interested in fabing your parts. They mostly work on S-chassis cars, but they do a fair amount a fab work; they may consider taking your project on. The exhause headder shouldn't be too hard to make anyway. They're in Orlando, I believe; give em a call.
