Yeah, about 6 years ago I took my 91 T2 there. Had them do a Stage 2 rebuild, new exhaust, gauges, SAFC, injectors, tune.... etc etc etc, have never had a day of problem. Know a bunch of people who have been there and that are very satisfied. Bryan and the crew do great work IMO. They were great to work with before, during and after the whole process.

Are they doing any work on your PFC??? Thats what I was curious about, if they had any experience tuning PFC's.

they were tuning it when i saw it over there. I had a rotor bearing installed for me and happened to see boosted's car. Pretty nice. They are going to tune mine when i get a wide band. I only have another hundred miles till i can boost. Then i'll be redy to tune.

Looks like this will probably be my best choice when I get a PFC in my TII

I have had my car there twice. Once 2 years ago for new radiator and AST. Very good work and no problems since.

Second 2 months ago with blown engine. They replaced engine, air intake, ECU with power FC and tuned it, intercooler, etc. Again, very good work and Bryan kept me up on all that was going on with time frame and progress. When i picked the car up, he went over everything with me to show me exactly what they did. Asa stated above great work and great guys to deal with.

Hope that helps

They do good work, but they take forever. They are constantly backed up. My friend's FD sat at the shop for over a month before they even looked at it.

hey guys this is Zac we greatly appreciate the comments! i just caught this thread... i will admit that it's really a two man show when it comes to workin on the cars. myself and scott each do our part on individual projects and some of the down time goes to parts on order, customer changing their mind (totally not a problem, we often push the change for the better of the car), and one of the worst... fix the car only to have something else go wrong while it's there these cars are getting old so it's not a two day deal for alot of it.

we understand it's hard to have your car sitting at a shop for a lengthy period sometimes but we don't want to rush it, get it to you, maybe miss something, then see it back the following week.

we keep the owner updated as much as possible when we get started, as we're working on it, any issues that arise, etc...

also, we are still catching up on work that had us backed up from Bryan's accident. his severe wreck pushed a severe amount of work back and the company was definitely put on a slower pace. this was before i joined up with the family. Pete left and then i came in. we are slowly getting things back to a normal pace and are very thankful for our customer relationships and their understanding.

Tony especially, your a good guy bro! anyone in this world of building RX7's has to understand what comes with the territory... but it's all worth it in the end

Sam, it's always good to get an FB rockin out.. especially a turbo one brings me back to the days of when it was just simple setups, no crazy electronics (the TII will be seeing this). keep me posted on how she's doing!

give us a call and ask for Bryan (owner). we will help out as much as possible.

I think it took a few weeks to have mine done. Never even thought about it. Bryan and I talked constantly back and forth on the phone about the car while he had it making changes, waiting on parts, figuring out what to about this or that. Picked up the car and never looked back. I only had to call him twice afterwards for advice and that was it. That's been 6 years at least, car runs as good or better than the day I picked it up.

Bryan built my motor a WHILE back. its a 12a streetport in my 79 SA and cant complain a bit, on his response and workman ship. it took a little bit t oget it back but if you saw all the cars in the driveway and yard at the shop you would know why. Byran will not steer you wrong. i was completly new to rotarys when i took it to him and he sat down with me went over everything and helped me pick out what i wanted, and made it work with my budget and desired outcome. When i had my motor done rutsy was still there, i have not been to the shop since he left but just resently got a hold of Zac and he is helping me with my fuel issue and carb settings, thanks Zac

no problem rob, let me know how it turns out.

just wanted to post this quick bit of info... we recieved a car recently that the owner had just purchased. he was told when he bought it that the engine was blown so he trailored it to us with the intent of getting a rebuild. the car is pretty fuggin nice and as with all cars before we start on them i did a compression test. sure enough it wasn't blown! now, curious tho, i did some more testing. it did run like pure hell, barely holding an idle, fouling the plugs, etc... by just listening to it you would seriously think it was done for. look at the ecu............... a damn hacked stock ecu ( i will not say by whom). swapped in a PFC with one of our maps and the car runs beautifully. only issue now is his turbo's were shot so we sold him a set of good used ones and he's definitely happy.

we could have easily just went ahead, pulled the motor, and rebuilt it and made the money off of him but that isn't our style. he now has saved a ton and will have a fun car to enjoy and think about what he really Wants to do, instead of what he Must do.

thanks everyone!

If I brought my car in strictly to get a PFC tuned, how long do you estimate it would take?

hey guys, (and anyone else wanting info)... due to many variables in setups and situations the best thing you can do is give us a call, ask for Bryan, and he'll go over everything with you and let you know the time frame we're in. even you bro with the megasquirt i think he's willing to check it out. just hit us up at the shop

704 - 933- 6222

Tony... as of now your in line but are coming up after scott is done with cody's car i believe. feel free to hit up bryan as well and find out for sure, but don't worry bro it won't be too much longer and we'll definitely hit you up the minute it gets pulled in and get you up to speed
