Anyone from Atlanta?
I just picked up a 1989 T2 from Chicago and need all the help I can get!!
The mechanics on this car are strong and perfect, but the cosmetics are much less than par. I have all the pieces, however, the interior is completely striped and there are about a dozen or so other small scale and low cost project to-dos.
Anyone willing to help me out I'll do that same with yours. I mostly have exp in tuning Microtech EMS but can tune others. My car has an E6K. I cant rebuild engines, but I did change a clutch on my last RX.
*If you have a catalitic converter for sale you are my best friend at the moment*
"Gotta get this thing on the street ASAP!"

If you're reinstalling the interior, your best friend is going to be the service manual as it's got pictures of how to do it. Download that here:

You should expect to get some "panel fasteners" and other clips & such from www.jcwhitney.com as those tend to break or get lost. If you need any fasterners (bolts/nuts) www.mazmart.com has a good bin of them you can pull from.
Also - any experience getting the microtec to work with the rx-7s secondary electric oil pump (it's only 3 stages of oil dropplet injection, not that hard).

Theres not too much rust just some on the usual areas. The body has 84k miles.
Hey Vaughnc I remember you from about 4 years ago. How bought that? Hey thanks for the service manuals.
Any hints on passing smog?

Air Pump + ACV Valuve + primary cat will pass with flying colors. If you've got a racing beat or HKS exhaust, you can swap on a Magnaflow catalytic converter inplace of the presilencer.
