Any shops around NC for an auto to manual swap

i have an 93 touring, currently with a blown motor and automatic transmission. I was interested if anyone knew of any shops in the Carolinas or GA that have done a auto to manual conversion.

yeah, Bryan has worked on the car before(a couple of years ago) and will probably put a new motor in it regardless. What is a ballpark price range for the swap. I know this question has been asked numerous times before, I am just interested to know from shops that have done these swaps. Thanks for any info

I talked to him about it. He quoted me at $7,000.

I sourced the parts myself for $1,700 and a buddy and me are going to do it next month.

It is real easy. If you get the parts and can do it yourself, we could help out!

He did it to his car and it took him a day to do it. Real simple.

Thanks for the input. Is your friends car that you converted in Greensboro also. I'd be interested to check it out. I'll be up there for mothers day weekend.

No he is in Ashville and so is that car I believe. When I can get a hold of a light weight flywheel ACT 12.5lb we will do the swap here in Greensboro at my garage... well storage place .

When we start the project I will PM you and let you know so you can come out and get an idea of what to do and a feel for it.

Do you know anymore people in Greensboro with RX-7's? If you do we could start a monthly meet or somthing?

oh and btw an almost complete auto-->manual conversion. You might want to jump on it before it ends. An excellent buy. Cheaper than what I payed for mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Auto-...63999586QQrdZ1
