I'm working that weekend unfortunately, so I didn't sign up. I still might drive up Wednesday and find some place to stay the night and return home on Thursday afternoon or just make a it a day trip.

Three NC threads, we should condense. I'm in Raleigh, near NC State. Though I do sometimes make it out to New Bern.

Would be nice to meet a few fellow Rotary owners in the area. I'm pretty sure we can get one from each generation, if my FD purchase goes through, I'll bring either that or the RX-8.

That sounds like a great plan once I finish my swap.

I've seen another vert around the princeton area and was wondering if they were up here.

I drive through Princeton semi frequently. What swap are you working on? Looks like an S4 N/A longblock.

I have a S4 turbo streetport rebuilt by Rotorsports racing that I'm going to be dropping in along with a bunch of other goodies I've been collecting for a couple years.

It's been a slow process. Plus, it's been way too hot in the garage to work on it out there.

You should bring it to sound station & security in Smithfield so I can reminisce about mine while admiring yours. We do a cruise most Saturdays from Smithfield to Raleigh. Rotaries among other things

Are you on Facebook at all? I'd be happy to meet some other car guys in the area. Smithfield is only about 15 minutes from where I live. Hopefully I'll be getting some more work done on it since the heat is breaking some.

Where, when do you start in Smithfield and where do you go in Raleigh? I’d be interested. Just have to make up my mind which one Id drive..

For now we meet at the abandoned big lots parking lot in Smithfield to get everyone together, then we head to whatever meet seems worth the time. The guys are talking about going to a slideshow in Durham or a small meet in Clayton. I’m leaning towards the small meet. The address for the meet spot is 884 W Market St. Smithfield, NC 27577 at 7:30-8

That’d be correct!! 2nd place. I didn’t go this year. Went in 17 and was disappointed that they passed over my car in the review process. They didn’t even look at it. Kind of decided I’d not attend again but if we can get a group meeting here semi regularly then I’d say a group run to Deals Gap is worth a good conversation. I’ve got some wrenching to do on mine (idler arm, engine mounts, transmission mounts, oil pedestal O rings..timing advance..water pump just to name if few.. that need attention. And I’m eyeing a Goodwin Raving full catted header exhaust system for my Miata.. with a tune to follow. But. I’ve been a bad boy.. I love driving the MX-5 more than the 5letter nowadays ... I know I know.. I’m sick, but yep let’s talk meeting soon wherever on a Saturday evening it late afternoon to park in a parking lot and grab a coffee and show off the rotaries and shoot the **** .. I’m in!

Let's meet up sometime soon. Here's what she looked like when I first bought her a few months back. Had Bryan at Rotorsports square a few things away and I've done a few little things here and there to get her up to snuff since then.
