Any Pilots here

Any of the SE rotorheads pilots also?
I just flew back from Lakeland (Sun'NFun) and saw these rotary powered
RV-6's. Just think...drive to the airport in your 7 then take off in your 13b
powered plane. Does it get any better?

There's a guy in San Diego who pilots a 13B powered aircraft...
He bought a turbo from me not too long ago, but I can't remember his SN...

Good Luck on the check ride! Looks like your the second rotorhead pilot in
Winston-Salem. We should try a fly-in for rotory owners somewhere in the middle
between Miami and Winston-Salem.

I'm working on my instument ticket now and just need to get the written out of
the way and one more cross country.

What are you training in?

As always SunNFun was a whole lotta Sun with alot Fun. Here are some picks.

Saw everything from homebuilds to military hardware. There was allot of exciting
aerobatics and of course all of the new technology in aviation.

If you have never been, it is a must see. If you have been, then you know what I
am talking about.

What do you fly?

Did you get a chance to go out to the Auto engine forum area out by the museum and work shops? Tracy Cook has a booth out there every year, on on Mazda rotaries, particularly for the RV series aircraft, he also has a really stout little gear reduction unit and has a neat little EFI controller with full redundacy for using FI on the mazda engine... his latest projects are buillding and setting up 20B's for the latest RV series (RV-10 if I remember right)? Also usually has some nice cutaway iron housings showing the port and cooling passage castings. He also has a web site worth looking at... rotaryaviation.com
Did you see the Rotomax display with their single and 2 rotor engines out by the tram transportation tent?
At this point I fly when ever I can arrange a maintenace flight
