8I was wondering if there ever was anyone getting tgether in Middle GA? I am in Columbus... And I can honestly say I cannot remember the last time I saw a 7 on the streets here...

Until tomorrow when I will be driving mt 79 to work...LOL.. I have 3 cars now and none of them newer than 79. 70 Dodge Swinger , 73RX2 and a 79 RX7. The wife has a new car but i am going backwards..

 

Today in Swanee, Ga we had about 12 rx7 out for a small meet. We also had a little autocross/drift/whatever track setup. It was some good fun. We just started the meets. There is one a month.

 

Im in the Midway/Savannah area. Would love to come out to a meet.

 

The next meet will be in the middle of September on a Sunday. It will be at Andriette Speed Lab in Alpharetta. We're trying to rent out the go-kart track.

What do you consider middle GA, the ATL area? I'm in Gwinnett Co. and just got my RX about a week ago but I'd love to meet some locals in GA and learn a bit more about rotaries!
I don't recall seeing any 7's in this area besides the usual rx8 here and there.

I'm in Warner Robins, South of Macon, theres also at least other 4 (1st generation) RX7.

 

way more than nine, i have about seven guys total that come by my shop. i'm planning a dyno day so when i finalize everything i can let everyone know then we can have a meet that day if it's ok with you guys.

 

wish i could join the festivities, but alas my rx7 is dead till i get the money to rebuild the 13b re in her. i am in columbus and have a red 87 parked outside my old barracks. i have seen at least 5 other rx7 mostly gen 1's and 2's in the columbus area, one is owned by a civilian who works for us. its a white 85 i belive.
hope to have the 7 running by the end of the year maybe even as early as july if nothing goes wrong.

 

I've been driving my '94 SSM around Columbus for a few months now... I saw another SSM at the Pathfinder/Jumpmaster building earlier this week.

Im new to the RX7 scene but i have a Silver 93 R1. I live in Thomaston and i know im the only one around here but id like to ride out sometime! Im in between macon and columbus! I just posted up pics in the introduce yourself thread with all my specs!

Just got my 7 back from the shop!! I am at Ft Benning until the end of June.

 

earliest i can join in on a meet is july due to my being overseas right now, and even then might be driving my wrx for it. rest assured i will definatly try to make time for them once i am back.

i know its kind of a quick suggestion but hell there is a import showdown May the 2nd at Silver Dollar Raceway in Renolds GA why dont we try to get a little meet going down there? I mean it cost to get in but hell atleast there will be a show if nothing else. for more info go to www.importshowdown.com i go every year so i guess ill be there
