whats the best way to tell what different final drive (rear end) gears are which. i bought the car and it came with a set. but there are no markings on it. i duno if its the stock gears or aftermarket that just never gort around to installing..... any thoughts

ok so im in the process of pulling the engine out............ (feeling a bit overwelmed)
i got the turbo and manifold off. im trying to get all the wiring out(harness) and its got me a bit confused. do i need to just unhook everything and leave it in the car or does it have to come out with the engine i have read both options.....
and what all do i not need anymore once the build is finished and im running a single turbo?
when i got the car the motor was 1/2 broke down and i have a box of parts and a **** tun of screws. i feel this is going to be a headache to get all back together.......

also this seems to me like it was a northern car cause this bitch is dirty(and its 20 years old) but all most all the hoses and rubber is dryrotted and fucked. so imma have to replace about 80% of that ****....
any way just an update ...... end of rant

Austin, where are located? I'm in crestview (wht single turbo fd). Just got back from deployment. I used to have a speed3 with the works if you know what I mean. Wiling to lend a hand if I can with your build. Let me know.

We need to get everyone together and see where the best city would be. The first Sunday of each month for a late lunch would probably be best for most. Saturdays could work to. The consensus should be left up to group discussion. I'm thinking ft Walton this time. I did crestview last time. Only myself and one other fd owner showed up. He doesn't ever get on here though.

A guy left a note on my car telling me he had an 80 model FB, I can try and contact him. I would hope he would come out.

im in pensacola right by the naval hospital off west highway 98
i am doing a single turbo. collecting parts now. just picked up a cj fuel kit
looking for a good FMIC or V-mount if anyone has or knows or one

I just started my tear down tonight. I'm pulling a ton of brackets, and the water housing to clean, modify, and paint everything. I'm moving the front fuse box to the back too. That is going to take some work. I also just bought some nice new aluminum pulleys and the abs delete kit. Anyone interested in my factory abs? It's in really nice condition!

Just noticed you guys were real close to me. I live in Panama City. have A '93 MB FD. i'd like to come over that way for one of the meets. and id love to the the white fd in person. im also saving up for a T04Z!!

Blue93- april 20 is a Saturday and there is a car show at johnny oquigglys here is cview if you're interested. I'll be at this one for sure. You should come up this way. I know it's a drive for you but they do a nice show every third Saturday of the month from 4-6. I missed the last one but we definitely be at this one. Don't want to be the only rotary there like always with the meets around here.
