To all the AL guys who knew Mark White....
I got an PM today about Mark White... and saw this thread on South section of the forum...

Mark came thru Birmingham back in 2003 to caravan with us to Rotary Revolution in Indy. He spent the night in Bham and had dinner with most of us Bham guys.... He was a great man and we had great time hanging out with him.. He's by far the biggest rotorhead Ive met and it was honor knowing him..
Rest in Peace Mark! You will be remembered ALWAYS!!

Mark White a long time friend, Sevens on the Shore member and one of the Greatest Rotary Enthusiasts passed away this Sunday 1/21/07 after a long bout with ALS aka Lou Gehrig's Disease. He is survived by his wife Cydney White and family. Funeral serivces will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday evening (1/23) from 6pm-9pm. The Funeral will take place on Wed. (1/24) at 10 am.

Me and John (20b 3rd Gen) were just talking about Mark during our trip to TN this past sunday (the day Mark passed away). We were actually trying to come up with a time when we could go see him... I'm still in shock to hear about this news..

If you want to be part of this donation, you could send it to me or give it to me in person. I'll be making the donation after DGRR 2007 as I'll be collecting at the event also.
