Don't beleive me, search it on SEDA (Southeastdrift.com).

I can get a bone stock GTS coupe here with 76k on the clock for $1500, and it hasn't been ragged. All your mods tell me is that you have pushed the car. I can get you $1000 for it because it is a GTS and has been "ragged."

Not trying to insult you, but that's way above kelly blue book. Excelant condition with 100k on the clock at KBB is $900.

The drift scene has shot the prices of a once affordable drifter (what made the AE86 popular, along with inital D), to outragious. For 2k you can get a KA24DE nissan 240, and imho it is more of a drifter out the box, with more uses (IE drag racing, etc, etc.)

$1000 here if you are interested.
It's not a GT-S at all... it's an SR-5 with a GT-S swap.

In other words, it's a "Hachigo Kai."

Party_kid2, Actually the car hasnt been pushed. It has never seen a drift competition or any serious abuse to the engine since the GTS conversion. Just because the mods were put in it doesnt mean i have run the car ragged. It hasnt been abused not one bit. Technically it is a GTS, all the parts are the same, a conversion of course, but its a gts now.

Im just sayin, if i wanted to sell it i could go over to 4ag and get 3 grand, i was just looking for a trade.

im willing to bet your SR5 was a coupe if it went for 50.00.

If your so positive you can get 3k for it on 4ag then why not go that route and take the cash and buy a FC. 3k can get you a very decent FC. But you won't get one as a even trade.

LOl hussle who? I've already had a few people offer me to trade straight up for an FC. If i was trying to hussle someone I would just as easily go on club4ag and ask a rediculous amount of about 5k for my hachi. I didnt think it was a bad deal honestly.

I used to want an AE86... but I figured that I could get whole lot more performance buying a $1500 FC than I could a $1500 AE86, since an AE86 that sells for that much has an actual retail value of about $500 anyway...

then again, AE86's in Japan cost several times more... but they're also low-mileage, and cooler looking...lol

Quite true. JDM AE86's look quite nicer. the americans got screwed over really badly in appearance.

...Bumper.

Look at the Zenki Tail lights

To bad americans didnt come standard with this equipment. the tail lights that say "Sprinter" are quite nice but expensive to buy.

I had a 1986 Toyota Corolla SR5 hatch! $50 to a kid that wanted a "drift car." Drifting is fun, but it's a rage, and not a sport. It is what the in people do. Just like drag racing imports when the fast and furious came out. Whne TFAF2 came out. A rich mama's boy got a 1990 Nissan Skyline R32 GT(2WD, 222hp inline six)(It wasn't a GT-R, hell not even a GT-S, just a GT) and he automatically had the FASTEST CAR in the school, because it was a skyline. Even though I knoew my Integra could blow him (and did, but nobody beleived me), and saw him get beat buy my best friends Datsun 240z with chevy 350 in it. Even the Maggot of our group (88 Civic 4dr w/ all stock B16, no exhaust from header back ran a 9.5 in the 1/8 mile. Better than this kids 3000lbs 222hp RWD Skyline could do. And to beat all, it was an automatic.

This all basically states that drifting is a Fad, and that AE86's are cool cars with LOTS of potential that helped build the import scene, but they are not a worshiping rock. Lot's of other cars can do the same thing as an AE86 and I refuse to pay $more than $1500 for a MINT AE86. I can build a car that runs 13's, maybe 12's in the 1/4 mile all day long for $3000. Just be realistic man. I am interested, and have about $1000 in the bank right now. That is about as much as you are going to get from somebody in their right mind. If you are interested in the offer, PM me and we'll chat, if not, then I am done here.
