Like it or not - He IS THE ORGANIZER of these meets. If it wasn't for him calling and pestering, there would be no one showing up at all. You'd be at home playing with your PS2.

I may not like his style sometimes, but it seems to work.

I met that crazy muthafucka - he's got attitude , brash and sarcastic but its alright with me bcos he's real and tells it like it is. as long as he gets the job done. from what i hear hes been organizing these meets and ppl show up so that its important. where would you be if he didnt come along? probably home chatting on aol. I only met him once in key biscayne 4 mos ago i think and he has some good ideas for yall and the club. so dont be hatin'

I dont know who you are and it really doesnt matter since this is an open forum and anyone can pretty much say whatever they want.

With respect to the N word... which one is that ? the one that ends with an "R" or with an "A" ..
I dont use the derrogatory and defaming one so dont sweat it..
The one I use is more than likely the one you have been accustomed to using so eloquently but I dont know... I dont know how you talk to your friends or acquaintances..

I have never said that anyone who was born or raised in NY is automatically by default is a Thug. That is not the case and I really dont have to get into it with you. It's not worth touching that subject. Yeah I from a real hood... from a Harlem Hood.. that is where I lived and went to school.

Like I said before, RX-7 meets now seem to be about 100 times better than they have been at certain periods in the past.

To everyone who will read this post...

I apologise for my behaviour and attitude if I have wronged you or made you feel uncomfortable with my sarcasm, or comments.

I am done with all of it. I am done with all the problematic people, the young ones I might add that I have had the friction here on the forum. It's not worth it anymore. I really dont have to play father figure and baby sit them out at the meet @ Fuddruckers. Telling them what they ought to do or not do and to behave like they were 7 year olds like my nephews.

This car show tomorrow Sunday is the last event that I will organize or rather be an organizer for. I am done with all the Drama, immature kids, the constant bashing over the word *****... All of It... Let someone else be the ORGANIZER and take over what seemed to be a great idea of establishing a
Miami RX7 Club.

Let it be known from this day forward that I am resigning as Organizer of any and all future events, RX7 Meets, Schwaggs, sponsorships, commercial discounts from businesses (Auto Parts,Muffler shops, wheels, tires,interior & exterior components, stereo systems, car alarms, Apparel & Embroidery shops, etc etc) that I have acquired throughout this time as Organizer of The Miami RX7 Club.

I want to thank everyone who was instrumental in helping me organize the first meet at my shop like Phil and to those others that somehow one way or another get out of their obligations at home to come out each and every week or meet. Thanks again people to the following that I can remember off the top of my head..

I totally agree with DirectFreak on this one too. Val might be "weird" at first, but he also has the same common ground as the rest of us. That being 7's, and wanting to meet other 7 owners. He HAS helped up for actually, the best meets for 7's that I have ever been to. I have been to numerous meets way back in the days, and none can compare to some that Val has held. IMO I dont think its right for you guys to mess with him soo much, to actually make him quit.

Let me see one of you guys put the same dedication into putting up meets like VAL. Trust me, I've tried to organize meets in the past, and they are not as easy as you would think. Remember guys, this is the internet, and everyone has a right to post what they think, but just dont let it get out of hand.

I will be one of the person(s) that will miss val's organizing of meets. Since I sold my car, I dont think I have a right to talk here anymore, but its just my opinion. I will see you guys tomorrow if I dont blow this BMW motor

the problem isnt that hes weird because we all know he is but the problem is he signals everyone out... and always has something to say about everyone no matter who it is... and to add to it the problems are he will start **** with you over the internet but when it comes time to face the facts he acts like your best friends...

everyone here has known me for a couple of years i think and everyone here knows im a very nice guy but when you start being a dick to me i will be a dick back period the end ali has been cool with me and weve never had any issues same **** with almost 75% of the people that go out to the meets...

im not saying val is an ******* he is and he isnt but yes he is a very good organizer but like chris said in the other thread you get mad at people when they cant show up to the meets and like i had said you start **** that has nothing to do with you...

I moved from Colombia to NY when I was 7 in 1969 and lived in Astoria Queens, NY not too far off from Astoria pool. I went to PS 21Q . Steinway St and Ditmars Blvd were not too far away. Astoria was predominantly a Greek area.

Then later my family moved to Corona... I lived on 108th Street & 49th Avenue not too far from Spaghetti Park and the Lemon Ice King of Corona.. attended PS 14Q on Otis Ave & 108th Street. Went ice skating at Flushing Meadow park. Played Handball , paddleball at Cairo park.

Yes, I did go to I.S. 61 Q a.k.a. Leonardo da Vinci from 6-8 grades.
Then to Flushing HS and school of performing arts on 135th Street & Convent Ave . Harlem, NY

Before hitting the 11th grade I moved out of my house and into an apartment on 129th Street & Amsterdam Ave. I cut class a lot... got into too much ****. Became a guardian angel and rode the subways with Curtis "The Rock" Sliwa and Sai my sifu at the time. The angels ; a vigilante group was nothing more than an organized gang. DJ Fuzz was in it at the time. Abdul Mitakkabear was a part of it also. I would hang around The Polo Grounds...I played ball at Rutger Park... I also hung out BedSty near Kingsborough...Brownsville Pink Houses... Red Hook.. these are some of the places if you know of them in Brooklyn. I was into a lot of bad **** at the time. Gangs, drugs, dealing, fightin'.. a lot bad ****... I was there.. I was a part of the SK Boys and LC Crew from the late 70's to mid 80's. I done time behind the walls 23 hour lockup waitin for my ppl to put money on my canteen...no halfway house or some country club like the county.... 6 calendars ,, the rest was paper time and then I discharged. That was my past and some of the attitude is still there but past is past. Some of you in the meets know about my past and that I did time. We can all change and make a difference in life.. I lead a transparent life now ... people hear my testimony and I tell it like it is... Keepin it real.

There it is *****... I hope this finally puts it to close... yeah thats right... I am from NY...

Enjoy the meets... gotta be persistent in order to persevere and be successful. That was my intent with the meets and the Miami RX7 Club.. perhaps my approach wasnt the best and I rubbed a couple of people the wrong way.. well that is the only way I know how... to be hard ... to make things happen.

I think now you have an idea of what the people you singled out or called out had to deal with. Here it is you had to justify your actions and comments to someone that doesn't know you. I also commend you in doing what you have done. Believe me I know the fustrations of putting together meets. Some of the people here can tell of the meets I did, Markham Park and Homestead are just a couple. Those gave me quite a few headaches, there was a lot of people that enjoyed it but there was a few that complained. You can't please everybody, and if you try to you'll kill yourself. Consider yourself lucky, you were only doing meets that consisted of local guys. But you've made your decision, just hope its what you want to do and not you caving in to people.

 

I do remember our conversation and all the stuff you went thru with the MRCCFL and Ian. I know that you were able to get some good sponsors and schwagg from businesses that would offer discounts to your members. That is essentially what i tried to accomplish with this club.

I heard some good things about the meets preacher has put together. maybe what ya'll need to do is get rid of some of these kids like that one kid who said he would burn rubber on his vert. people like that ruin it for everybody else bcos they think they know a lot but they dont know ****. un come mierda. is this kid the one with the fungus growth on his face and the celia cruz big mama jamma butt. If it is i remember him from the markham park meet. talkin som **** about a TII he was building .. need to get rid of this muthafucka before he ruins it for eveyone else. LOL
