I am staying on as Organizer... I have seen some of the posts and most of the people feel that I am doing a good job of it in getting people together...


After todays car show success there is no reason for me to resign from the postition as organizer... we could have had a lot more people show but we had a good turn out...

I will be there, my friend and I have a shop in the same street (13904 s.w. 139 ct) it's called Marcos Marine Corp. We do rigging on boats, electronics and all kinds of work on outboard engines. I could take something to drink or anything that you guys need.

My bad on the address... I inadvertently pressed 0 instead of an 8... No harm done since its in the same line of warehouses... and its not hard to find when you start seeing a few 7's parked in a lot... so i dont really see the big deal neways....

 

I just got back from this meet... there are a few people there like Darkphantom, Mazdagirl81, RX7Savannah, Dennis DeSilva 'RPM Doctor', Ismael 'Stealthman',Preacher, Rob says he is on his way... Paul will be on his way also... Abel '2ndGenRex7' said he will be by later.. a new guy named Jose with a yellow 1st gen 20b is also on his way from Hialeah.... I took a break to get charcoal and fluid... If anyone read this post.. come out to the meet... 14088 SW 139th Ct.
I am not the organizer of this meet but it seems everyone is calling me to find out where it is and if its happening... Later.

Did You Get Home Safe Summer?

 

The meet was ok... for an impromtu type outing... a bit unorganized due to lack of communication... Phil got pissed off and left because he was told that there were 8 cars out there and there were none... I believe Wilma had something to do with not too many people showing up ...

All in all there was a show of support by the people who showed up and we had one newcomer Jose with is turbo charged Yellow 1st gen as you can see by the pic below.

The highlights of the meet was Darkphantom beating an MR2 down on the avenue. That was cool to watch...

Everyone cut out early since they were so hungry... I brought the charcoal and utensils but there was no grill and no food to BBQ... we almost ended up hunting down squirrels to put on the Kabob.

I hope that the next meet will have a larger showing of Rotorheads..

The plans for the club t-shirts was shown to everyone and the general concensus is that its a good design that we will most likely go with.. on the back will be a rotor with the words MIAMI RX7 CLUB and it will have all three series of RX7's FB,FC.FD as well as a rotor for a sun and palm trees. The front on the left side close to the heart will be the foruim name of each person. It is projected that the t=shirts will be black with white silk screen letters. We will also have in the works the same logo pic to display on our cars windows.

Paul , Abel and I discussed a meeting to establish the MIAMI RX7 CLUB as a realclub and that it will be registered as a legitimate entity with its own fictitious name and domain name as well...

I hope to get one of you guys to design the website within the next couple of weeks. I went ahead and purchased the domain name as

ALL IN ALL IT WAS A NICE MEET! dunno who that guy was with the black FD but he needs to clean his car. & the guy with the near stock 1st gen & summers FD with those big *** wheels (19's) but it still looks tight Im not hating on u summer LOL! Luis keeping everyone entertained with his focus. Love that vented aerodynamic hood

BTW that mr2 was boosting 23lbs i was @ 13lbs and he has a T66
