7/21/2007 Atlanta to Delonega
Can I have your attention please...
7/21/2007 (Tomorrow, Saturday Morning) I will wake up and hopefully get some of your butts to meet me at various places around Atlanta before heading up 400 to Delonega.
The first meeting point will be at 9:00am at the Shell station on the corner of Windy Hill Rd and I75 in Marietta just NorthWest of Atlanta.
North on I75 to Exit 259, left then Shell on the Left
South on I75 Exit 260 right then shell on the left)
9:30am the meeting point will change; the second meeting point will be at Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell off I400 at the first gas station off the exit (I believe its a Shell, but may be a Chevron)
North on I400 to Exit 7B bear right first station on right.
South on I400 to Exit 7 take a Right first station on the Right
The Third meeting point will be between 10:00am and 10:30am at the top of i400 at the Chevron on the Left. To be more specific, at this point I400 drops from 4 to 2 lanes.
Once we get established, grouped and fueled the fun begins riding the 129 and 180 loop through Delgonega and Suches. We will stop for lunch at TWO Inn, a fantastic place to chill and get a good berger.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I have something else tentatively scheduled for tomorrow but if it falls through (I'll know late tonight), I'll see you at the first meeting point tomorrow.

I live off rte 52 about 17 miles E of Dahlonega at rte 284. You may also want to run up 129 N of Cleveland to Vogel state park, which is another nice ride. Can't make it tomorrow though...
