NOT SURE YET IM A LITTLE LOW ON CASH BECAUSE MY CAR IS GIVING ME PROBLEMS. IT GETS STUCK AT 5000 RPMS THEN AFTER AWILE IT GET BACK TO NORMAL. NOT EVEN MY MACHANIC KNOWS WHATS WRONG WITH IT. HE SAID I HAVE TO DO A COMPLETE TUNE UP TO FIND THE PROBLEM BUT HE THINKS ITS THE FUEL FILTER OF THE FUEL PUMP.

 

i think theres sumtin wrong wit ur car

 

it gets stuck at 5000 rpm but is it a hesitation???? check your grounds???? or it could be what happened to me in my TurboII i had to rewire the fuel pump because those old wires dont give the same amount of voltage they did 20 years ago so your fuel pump is most likely not getting the correct amount of voltage that it needs....

When I had the same problem I took it to Dennis DeSilva's shop and he fixed it.. didnt cost me very much. Call him at 786-293-9443

His shop is located at: 18773 SW 105th Place.. near Marlin Rd & Quail Roost.

ok guys heres the Update at 1pm on Sunday September 18th we will be meeting up at Vals shop i think everyone here knows already where that is... neways well wait for about an hour mayb hour an half there waiting for everyone to arrive once everyone has arrived we will all ride out to Dolphin Mall where we will have the choice of vallet the cars which means we will have them all up front for everyone to see =) or find a parking space im gonna be valleying my car so let me know what you guys think.... as for the owner of the Red TurboII with the rx8 wheels that my friend Regino also knows as Fc3s-gxl cool guy...

I had sold my vert to a guy named Vince in Miramar... It turned out that his wife didnt want the car so I had a chance to buy it back minus the 20% restocking fee. So i had some money left over to get some goodies. The engine was a bad engine that i bought from this guy named Brandon who was at the first meet. That engine ended up in the junkyard so Vince got a newer engine for it. If you make it to this meet you will see what was done to it. That is why I said what I said about doing business with an RX7 mechanic that actually has a physical shop that bears his name and can provide a written receipt. I got burned on the previous motor since I had no receipt. The guy was a free lancer... Have tools will travel type of guy.

My intention was not cut anyone down like Cris,,, I was just simply stating my opinion based on my experience with an RX7 mechanic that didnt have a shop.

The Red Turbo II was freshly painted and it belongs to Regino. Hopefully next thursday night we can have more people show up to the K Mart parking lot next to Fuddruckers.

 

As far as the meet tomorrow. I met with the Valet Parking manager at Dolphin.. his name is Angel Aredondo... we talked in person yesterday concerning the meet on Sunday...


The first row of the valet parking area that will cost $10.00 and he said that he can reserve about 20 spaces for US and even get a discount.

There are Security Cameras for this area so we can feel that much safer.
Like this we can have all of our RX7's all in a line for tomorrow but i need to know who is coming.. and I urge you to please let me know by today by way of phone so I can tell the manager to save those spaces.
