Hello there my fellow rotary friends, my group of long time friends and I have a little Mazda club and we like to have a big meet at least once a year. Now that I have an RX-7 and have met so many of you great rotary guys I would like to extend this invitation to everyone and anyone who would like to come join us. We're looking forward to having a good showing of rotary Mazda's because in years past we haven't had any at all. I hope many of you can make it out, here is the original post about the meet from my other forum:

It's that time of year again so get your Mazda all cleaned up and head out to our meet!


Saturday July 14th @ 10:30am

As usual it will be held at the Sonic Drive-In in St. Cloud. Once everyone has had enough time to grab some lunch we will head over to a nearby park for hanging out, taking pictures and more! I have a few things to give away to the first few people who show up but if Mazda comes through and sends me more stuff I will have free stuff for everyone! There will also be a few awards handed out, nothing too special.. for the first meet I made up a few awards out of old junk parts and people seemed to enjoy them so I'll be making a few more of those.


Schedule is as follows:
10:30am ~ Meet @ Sonic St. Cloud - 4350 13th St.(US192)
12:30pm ~ Photos @ Partin Triangle Neighborhood Park - 2830 Neptune Road, Kissimmee

Try to ask off? I did my best to make it far enough in advance so people could ask off but not too far off that people would forget about it. Sorry you can't make it though.. there will be plenty pictures for sure!

I'll keep this in mind. I really wish I could make it out there guys, but Kissimmee is roughly a 9-hour drive.

 

Oh damn, yeah it's quite the drive. Maybe by then you could find another reason to come down and stop by? Longest drive gets you a Protege fuel door... LOL

 

I wish that could happen. But the only reason I'd be down in any part of Florida is if my moto sponsors "suggested" that I should head down that way for a big race. Not really sure what's in Florida as far as Moto tracks go anyways. Even if that were to happen though, there's no way we'd take the truck, trailer, AND the FD. Who knows though, college is a year away and I still don't know where I'll be going.

Thanks People really enjoyed the car part awards last time so I had to dig up some more from my pipe of junk lol. Last time each car part was as relevant as possible to the award but I just did the best with what I had this time.

Should be able to make it with my dad. Two FBs '79 & '80. Hopefully work doesn't throw me a curve ball, and makes me not able to make it.

Lol good one, did you catch the "3th" in the title? Our group of guys fail at trying to do motorsports so that's what it ended up being.. its much easier to fail and be happy with it than to fail and think you're the best lol.
