Well, it wouldn't hurt... Couple of bucks here...couple there... Of course, having you guys support my performance parts shop would be even better! (Shameless plug).

FWIW, the revised web store should be up and running by mid week for any who might be interested.

I can't wait to catch up with you guys. It's been too long since I've been active in meets, etc.

Well I am getting a 1980 SA that will have a donor T2, Cosmo or the Mighty 20B donor power plant and I will need engine management for that so I will turn to you for that one actually I will get the motor in and mounted and bring it to your place to get the ECU and all put in as long as it wont catch FIRE .

Cool. My old 13B-RE Cosmo w/ a 1/2BP is back on the road now that a friend of mine bought it. It's being run by an older E6K just fine. If you decide to go 20B I'd suggest an E11. I sell both Haltech and Microtech, but I'm more of a supporter of the Haltechs. More support for one. Either way, let me know when you're ready and I'll get you set up. With the motor in place already it'll make it a lot easier.

as long as it wont catch FIRE .
Ahem, and I quote, "SMARTASS!" LOL.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. My car flooded the other night and I wasn't able to get it started with the bad plugs I had with me so we decided to tow it a mile to my house. The kid driving my truck rolled back into my front bumper and smashed it! I'm so Fu(king pissed it isn't funny.

I've decided that other than a set of sideskirts and a lip, I'm not using fiberglass on my car anymore. I'm going to try to have the front bumper repaired and installed on my wife's new car when it's ready.

Unfortunately, the 10AE won't be looking its best this weekend since the front bumper is half sanded down and my badges, etc are still on the fiberglass fenders I also decided to pull off.

Does anyone that will be up there happen to have a bolt-on fender roller? I'm needing to roll the stock fronts out about an inch...

Umm...no. It was a guy I know driving MY truck. He was all, "man, I'll find some way to save up teh money to take care of it", and I pretty much told him to shut the **** up and get away from me until I could calm down.

I'm not usually prone to physical outburst, but considering that I've FINALLY gotten my car to where it looks decent and then THAT happened, I flipped.

We'll see what happens.

I am not trying to sounds smartass but **** happens and there is nothing you can do about it. But the bright side of the story is it could have bin worse like way worse.

P.S. I will not be ready for the swap for a while becouse I am planing on changing my living cordinates I am trying to find a house with a garage/workshop so that is the first on the list. Do you know anybody that could fab some motor mounts for SA 20B swap becouse that would make my life that much more easier.

Not trying to be a jerk, but I'm glad it was you and not me. You handled that situation better than I probably would have. I'm not sure how I would have reacted, but I would probably be in jail now.

nah, you don't sound like a jerk, but this wasn't a '**** happens' kind of thing. We had a long rope lead (over a car length long). He was about 8 feet from my car and rolled back that far. THAT'S the main reason I am/was so pissed. It's one thing to roll back a foot or two, but 8 feet??

It's over now, so what happens, happens.

I bet you'll be the one who moves the truck from now on.

Well guys As it is starting to look I want be able to make it to the meet :-( . I just paid out some whopping bills that drained both my checking and savings account and am down to $40.04 left in my bank account. I only get paid $75.00 this week :-( . So unless a miracle happens I more than likely want be able to make it. I was holding out but it doesn't look promesing unless I can bum some Gas money some how. I am in school at ECPI so that doesn't help either in the gas department. 40 minutes away from my house and 35 minutes away from work.

As it is looking right now I want be able to make it but there is always a chance but dont count on it.

with regrets,

Dan

I say that we do it some time during the week, that way we still have time to recover if something happens. I need to replace some hoses in mine, so we can do them at the same time.

hey looks like the rex isnt going to make it. it runs fine, but i guess somewhere when it got hot one of the freeze plugs popped. there is water pouring out of the back of the engine. i will still come with the truck, and if it's OK ride diffrent with people, just leave it at big daddys.

also does anyone have axcess to or have a lift that is near greenville? that would help me out alot more when dropping the tranny.

Robin and I will not be able to make it this weekend. I was afraid that something else would come up. Hope to make it to the next.
