Just a heads up everyone, we've got some early warning that there will be an upcoming price bump for 2018 to Ohlins DFV's. (Possibly new pricing being released this week) If you're looking for suspension, the price is going UP, very very soon How much, we don't know yet... but once pricing is officially released the price increase is locked in. Heads up if you're interested, *NOW* is the time to order if you're planning to this year.

This will potentially affect our upcoming FPSpec Long-Stroke DFV's which are up for release now (bad timing unfortunately concurring with our launch) so that price may be going up as well very soon (we'll see how things shake out long term but for now the current pricing is accurate).

Where are they produced? I know Öhlins have production in Sweden, so im wondering if those sold in the US are made there?

 

All Ohlins DFV shock bodies are manufactured in JAPAN, at the Yamaha with Ohlins patented internal components and technology. They are then shipped to Sweden for assembly with the rest of the components, into kits, and then distributed worldwide.

One of the last suspension kits made in Japan still! Ohlins are actually JDM AF! But with amazing technology developed in Sweden. This is why we work with Ohlins, they're internationally regarded as one of the best suspensions money can buy, and is why they're exclusively used on Pagani's and Konnegseigs
