RX7store.net doesn't deliver and decides to just randomly charge...

Hey,

So i've rarely had bad situations with rx7 parts, I generally only buy from named stores with reputations etc. Which is why I decided to do a decent amount of purchasing thru rx7store.net. Probably spending at least a couple thousands dollars there.

My last purchase was in the end of September '08. I ordered an FD walbro pump, koyo alum. rad and a CJ Dual Walbro Pump Mount. (paid for ALL ITEMS AT TIME OF ORDER)

The pump and radiator arrived promptly. But after 2 weeks the dual pump mount was a no show. I contacted jason by e-mail directly, he stated they were waiting on the shipment from CJ. I had no problem with that and calmly waited. Around the beginning of november (i have every email saved BTW) I e-mailed again wondering where my dual pump mount was, again I was responded to and told "CJ said theyd finally be shipping some products to us, we expect to have it next week and will ship it then" again, sounds fine no problem. Let it slide without complaining, just patiently waiting.

UNTIL TODAY.

I was going to buy a set of tires for my Evo, stopped in at my local bank to withdraw the cash and noticed that my funds seemed pretty low form what I had remembered them being. So i decided to print out a statement, the last debit was $440.00, and was from rx7store.net. I figured that was strange considering i HADN'T BOUGHT ANYTHING.

So here I am now in front of my computer, missing $440, and having never received my $315 Dual Walbro Mount (you know the ones that he states in a sticky are "in stock" as of 11/9, which i could have ordered and received from CJ like 2 months ago mind you).

So Rx7store.net at this moment owes me $755, $440 of which is apparently A CHARGE FOR NOTHING.

I have e-mailed jason directly just a few moments ago, after no one answered the phone there, and await his response, as well as a deposit of $755 back into my account. Personally I feel I deserve more then just what I'm out of pocket for since having $440 STOLEN FROM YOU isn't a very satisfying feeling after spending plenty of money there.

Kevin.

My guess is Jason hasn't stole anything and you will be fine. Relying on other third party shops to deliver limited production units can sometimes put the seller in a bind. I should know. You'll be fine in the end I'm sure.

Man I love these ridiculous threads. Lets see, I charged you for the pump assembly and walbro pump 2 days ago. Guess what shipped out 2 days ago to you.

To come on here without even talking to me is a joke and to say I stole money from you just flat out pisses me off. Get your **** straight before accusing me of stealing money.

How about talking to me before making accusations. Giving me 15 minutes to answer an email and not leaving me a voice mail doesnt count as trying to contact me. Sorry.

As Zero R pointed out I dont make these items and you along with a bunch of other people have been waiting on them.

You actually think I owe you $755? You did receive product, so you expect me to just give you those items for free?

Yeah, it sounds like he was decent enough to not process your order until he was ready to ship it.

You ordered $869 worth on 9/24. I charged you $429 on 9/28 and then $440 a couple of days ago. Check your bank statement.

Alright, sorry for being so on edge I just wanted to buy my tires today, didnt expect an unannounced $440 charge on my account.

Guess I went overboard, but if you remember our previous problems with my turbo warranty I think you'll understand why I jumped the gun.

As long as you'll continue to sell to me I will continue to order from you, and as i said, I apologize for reacting harshly/abruptly. Just not a fun shock to see $440 debited out of your account without warning.

In the future before you bill or as youre billing for a backordered item, you may want to alert the customer to expect a charge, as thats what basically set me off I had been planning and saving to buy my tires and then bam out of nowhere half the tire money was gone.

No problem, I tried to call you a couple of days ago to let you know, but I may have an old number for you.

I don't mind if someone wants to complain about waiting forever on an item because that is the nature of this business sometimes, but I get pissed if I'm accused of stealing money.
Next time give me a day to get back to you on something.

Thanks

I'm constantly on the phone during the day, normally i tell people to just leave a message because i hate using call waiting, that way as soon as i hang up i check my voicemail and call back.

As I'm sure you know from our transactions I don't mind waiting on an item, having spent over 100k on my cars and having to wait in excess of a year for certain items I'm used to waiting as long as the place is reputable which is why i chose to shop at your store I know you come through.

Sorry for not giving you time to get back but i was furious, and like i said this basically would've never occured if i was aware of the incoming charge, just in these days i like to be able to account for every cent spent quickly.

Once i receive the items I'll most likely be placing another order for either 1 or 2 of the vmounts as well as coilovers for the fc and one of the fds, been waiting to order but I like to ensure all orders are completed before placing a new one.

edit: also on a side note. The turbo I received from ATP wound up being an entirely brand new unit by the way (not rebuilt), it also required a different oil-feed flange found a nice one with a restrictor in it. Everything seems peachy-keen with it, car's on stands for the winter tho, will dyno it on meth in april, looking for 500whp @ 23ish psi.

I think you should change the title of this thread since you jumped the gun. Something more like, "I got pissed for no reason, sorry Jason".

Please email me or call me about this. You should have received the pads a while ago as I always have those in stock.

Thanks

Give Jason a break. CJ motorsports is the one who is holding up the progress, they are making these things slower than molasses poring from a maple tree in Vermont

Jason is a good seller. Honestly it did take me a week or two.. or was it three for my last radiator.. i did have to contact him later about the refund...

but! was it worth it to get someone who is extremely helpful and will do what he says he will? YES.

will i do business again with him? YES>.. unless of course i find it cheaper somewhere else... but Jason.. do you pricematch? if so.. then ill order most things from you.

Ive read several posts on the "vendor" part of the forum trying to find new places to find new parts.. so far its been too much negativity.

People.. we have an elite car... if you can't wait a week, two weeks.. even 2 months for it... maybe look for a different car like some dumb civic you want to rice up.

anyways, im not bashing you TecNics.. not at all. you were man enough to apologize..

seriously... i don't know or believe that vendors hear this enough when they go out of their way to help us.

but thank you JASON and those that continue to support the RX7 community!
