Thumbs down RX-7 Store Poor Service

Whats up with their customer service? Not only does their status not move from "processing" but if you email them (3 times) they dont even reply to you until you want your money back. Finally they said no because it was shipping! What the hell? If they could just update their status to "shipped" there would be no problem. Also when you email a company I atleast expect to get an email from them in the same week. I know they are probably busy but thats no excuse to not write a quick response to an email. Again they only replied because I wanted my money back. Big thumbs down for RX-7 Store.

O man here we go. You ordered a pod from me on 2/2 which was 2 days ago. The pods ships the same day. You email 3 times on the next day which was yesterday, never once thinking I might be busy and havent had time to answer emails yet. You also never bothered to call me which is usually a little faster than email. I respond to your email lastnight at 10pm letting you know it shipped but I havent had time to update the online system. You respond at 1am saying send a tracking number over when I get a chance and then come on here at 10am to bitch about this. WTF. Have you ever heard of patience?

If you actually look at the site it says that product ships in 24-48 hours, but I got it out the same day you ordered it.

The site also states :
Order Tracking: Please be aware that once your order has shipped it can take us a couple of days to update the system with your tracking number

Which I pointed out to you in the email I sent lastnight.

I am seriously amazed at the lack of understanding people have.

What did he expect? For you to work 24 hours a day?

Jason, you went above and beyond the plainly stated expectations on your own site, and this ***-hat wants to complain. He can get bent.

I ordered the part from you on the 30th "Order Date: January 30th". Not the Febuary 2nd. I emailed you on the 30th asking for the shipping number AND yesterday. I did think that you would be busy and waited. You finally got back to me last night and today where it was already shipping for 2 days. I had no idea if the package was shipped, NOTHING. I woke up today to your reply, if there was no reply I was going to call today. If you havent had time to update the online system, atleast email me with an update. 1am? I dunno where you are located but I was doing work all night and was not even on my computer. I do have patience and everyone else I have done business on here with, I have no had a problem. COMMUNICATION. Thats all i need. I dont need a reply Jason, I just wanted to let you know how I felt. Just frustrated thats all.

Its amazing when a person takes one side of the conversation when he has no idea what is going on. Im even an *** hat for wondering where my parts are? I ordered it on the 30th. Whats are you talking about 24 hours? Thats 6 days (almost a week). Like I said im done, its resolved, and im moving on. Good luck to RX-7 Store. Thanks for the reply Jason.

Dude you can't be serious...
This thread is retarded, unless something else happened.
If you waited a bit longer, maybe after 5 business days, then I would have maybe thought you had a reason to be upset but not upset enough to start a new thread. Threads like these are important but I think your wrong in this case. You jumped the gun.

Your order got put in my system on Monday because you ordered it late friday which orders go in the next business day. I did not get any emails on the 30th but got a couple yesterday. You responded to my 10pm email at 12:56am as Im looking at the time stamp right now. I specifically stated that it had shipped and also sent you an email at 8am this morning stating the samething.
You need to read the print on the website and we wouldnt be having this conversation.

Ridiculous. Way too impatient. If I order anything on a friday after 2pm I don't expect it to begin processing till the next business day. Also, since they are located a couple time zones ahead of you you have to go by their time. I've had waits before with them, but usually the part isn't in stock. I'll still order from them and I encourage everyone else too. If its that important there is this old instant communication device called a phone. Use it.

Idiot.

You ordered the part on Jan 30th (Friday).

His store is probably only open M-F. You're lucky enough that he sent out the part the same day.

It's not a 24/7 service man. Jason has to sleep.

Last time I checked, UPS/FEDEX doesn't pick up deliveries on the weekends. They might deliver on a Saturday (FedEX) but not on Sunday. Vendors don't have any responsibility on shipping times. Once it's been picked up, it's all on UPS/FedEX.

BTW, he's located in Ohio if you bothered to check his website which you ordered from. Time zone is different. 3 Hours ahead of you.

I've bought many parts from Jason. Not once have I ever bugged him for any tracking numbers or updates. Everything has always been received within a timely manner.

All this for a gauge pod? $33? You're serious?

I've spent over $2,000 with Jason.

Next time buy on eBay.

You can also save some extra money by switching to GEICO.

gtfo, kthx.

working in a parts dept at a dealership I am now no longer frustrated with vendors.

I now have a concept of what a business day is, and how long shipping takes. I have to send things fedex and UPS all the time, not to mention have to order parts and deal with wholesale customers all day.

A quality vendor ships w/i 24 hours, if not the same day (depending on when the order was made. This means he has to receive the order, process it, package it, and either schedule a pickup, or drop it off at the facility himself. After he drops it off, its out of his hands. Other than giving you the tracking number, he cant get a package to you any faster.

If you order your parts on a friday night, it wont get processed and shipped out until monday. As fedex and UPS dont operate on teh weekends, making it pointless to process it that weekend. The weekend also cannot count as a day, as business operate on business days.

If you want to get your parts fast, order your stuff sunday night. This aleviates the anxiousness of waiting all weekend for and update (as it isnt processed any quicker) and ensures that the business recieves first thing monday morning, meaning it will more than likely be processed and shipped that day. And since its the beginning of the business week, your more likely to recieve your parts within the week.

i look forward to ordering parts from rx7store.

I'll toss in another endorsement for Jason ... I have ordered parts from the store for so many project cars and Jason has always been responsive and everything works out as promised. I think they stock a ton of stuff for immediate shipping as compared to many many others(including rx7forum vendors, I hope they are reading), and when they have to get a part from a supplier they are very upfront with reasonable delivery times and good communication. Thumbs up for the store!
