VIDEO REQUEST - "TURBO MR2 and RX7"

there was a video on here a long time ago with a blue 1993-5 RX7 driving around country roads w/ a turboMR2 all edited to music. Does anyone remember this vid/ can post?

good vid ... for people with slower connections ... it features a blue fd, a yellow mr2, and a eclipse thats looks black... all cars seem to have some work done to them

im not so sure about 2gens but i know about 4 people with the first gens and they are all slow .... they all tell me its very hard to make them fast without spending a ALOT of cash

Its true, it seems like the mid engine layout takes alot of dough to make fast. My friend with a 91 turbo mr2 spent already 3 grand in mods (may not seem like alot) and he said he'll be lucky to put down 250hp.

they are so proud of that motor. They think its all high and mighty, I dont know why, reliable yes, making power NO. takes lots of cash. With all the boltons and a turbo upgrade, tuning and everything they put out like 300whp. and my brother has one and he could vouch for that.

I posted on their forums that one of them should try turning a rotary sideways and slapping it in that bitch. and since the trannys on the drivers side the exhaust ports point right out the back. I thot it would be a good idea, so i suggested it.

And all of them were getting butt hurt saying "it makes no torque" blah blah blah, giving me all the reasons why they dont wanna do it, trying to lecture me on rotaries. Whatever, at 400+ whp on a rotary is alot easier then making an mr2 350 whp, the rotary would still put out a close amount of torque, also alot cheaper. i dont know heres the thread http://www.mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=149233

The MR2 stock bottom end has held 500rwhp or better. The 3sgte is a good motor. I put down 275 rwhp and I am on the stock fuel, intercooler, and motor. I have a 20g at 15psi. I love the FC and the MR2 both. I don't know what he spent $3000 on? A boost controller, FCD, and exhuast will net around 240-250 rwhp. Both great cars just not as many people go beyond BPU.
