Thanks guys. We had a really good time, and everything worked out ok. Hopefully we can do it again sometime with more Rx-7s.

Very bad ignition break-up. We were both running fouled plugs. I was using NGK 11.5s that fouled idleing in the staging lanes.
(I don't even have MSD or anything) I was able to clear them a little by revving, but bogged horribly on the launch.

Phil's plugs were in really bad shape. He was worried about why the car was breaking up so he let off. That first run was pure crap for both of us. After he changed his plugs, he was running like a champ, 8.20s all day.

 

Bad 2nd gear though. Once he gets the TwinPower set up and the 2nd gear fixed watch out =p

 

Phil was definitly running good after his trip to the local Advance Auto parts....
He thought he blew his motor at first, but new plugs saved the day...
