Two videos of my project (blowing, pulling, prepping, and installing an engine)

Well, i ended up blowing the engine on my newest rx-7 and happened to catch the very moment on tape... or at least when the apex seal officially let loose causing the engine to sieze. That happened monday (3/13/06) night and by Friday (3/17/06) evening the other engine was in and running. I did all the work in that time frame BY MYSELF. ENJOY!

Video number 1 is blowing, and pulling the engine

Video number 2 is reinstalling front cover stuff, reinstalling and first start.

I can pull a motor in the same timeframe, but not re-install. Cool.

i just blew my motor in my 87 TII as well...had it up and running in 2 weeks...you beat me!

Yup, just the front cover stuff. This new engine is from my old silver t2.

Haha, no when i backed the car off the trailer, the exhaust scraped the ground pretty hardcore and grabbed some rocks.

Try pulling the motor, rebuilding it,installing it, and starting it back up all in the same day. =) I do this too much

OMFG that was ******* Awsome... you are tha Man.... (wish i had ***** like that... im almost too ***** to change the Orings in my Oil Pedistol...) Do you have that **** in slow motion? like so I can see how it was done? and did you use all new gaskets or reused some?

Did it with style too... never seen that before...
