Did you guys see how bad the Porsche leans on turns? My dad has a 924, and they don't get 34 or 35 MPG. he gets more like 21, and his car is '80. I would rather have an RX-7, the parts are easier to find. and less money, but not only that but i lost to a freakin '93 Ford Taurus in it in my Dads Porsche that was the last straw.

I think the date of that particular review was '85. Mazda introduced the FC in Japan in '85 and I think that's the early S4 j-spec version he has. They added the ignition system we're used to in 86 when we got them.
At least I think that's how it goes. It's been awhile since I read Yamaguchi's Rx-7 book, but I've seena picture of an FC with that same ignition setup in there somewhere.
