The EVO lost because they backed the car into the water. The car spun and he got locked out of 2nd gear. Even with the rear tires wet the EVO still got out on the rx7. You win some and you lose some. The EVO is still KOTS(king of the streets)here.

I've never been so happy to see an FD lose before I love those 03/04 Cobras. **** the LS1, I'll take a 4.6L Cammer over that hunk of scrap metal any day of the week.

I'm as entitled to my opinion as the OP is to swapping a V8 into an FD. I don't have to like what he does, and I'm allowed to say so. He doesn't have to like my opinion and he's allowed to say so.

i dont wanna turn this in2 a v8 vs 13b thing its jus funny that the people that normally bitch about v8 swaps and how "ghey" they are are normally the people whos 3rd gens are slow anyways lol, every rotary owner i know with a semi fast rx7 respects the v8swap for what it is, even if they dont agree with it..ok iam done now..

I think its ok for someone to not like the idea of the v8 swap, but to get but hurt when they see a nicely set up v8 FD that is not theres, give me a break. Sure your entitled to your opinion and you can say what you want, but is it pointless and immature? Hell yeah it is.
