I would think you should be able to get some grants. If you get some more footage you might be able to get some aftermarket companies onboard too. Looks like its gonna be really good, its nice to see street racing (real racers not ricers) portrayed accurately instead of the usual tv crap that perpetuates the stereo types

 

^yea well unfortunetly most of the time its all rice. but thankfully we kno people who have some nice cars and they no people and so on and so on.

I would suggest also getting Speed Inc. involved if possible. The domestic guys love to street race and would be perfect for the video because they believe in safety first which i get the feeling is something you would like to show about real racers (unlike ricers that race around in traffic etc.). They also have some VERY fast cars that aren't supra's or 7's which would help give the video some variety.

Even if you cant get them to offer any money towards the video, im sure all the shops would be happy to help you get some good race footage and lifestyle footage.

Have you done better yourself? If not then you have no base to make those comments from. Sure you can say in your opinion it sucks, but calling it a high school project is a excessive. Have you seen "The Big Supra Video" or any of the other well known street race vids? This is as good as those (although the content is still kinda lacking in that trailer)

 

Guys, there is no need to defend this video from such a baby like stanz. He is just a jealous baby who cries alot. It's ok. And babies can't make videos or do anything else creative. They just cry and talk ****.

You need to come down to miami... You will have ALOT of fun here. And in the winter all the cars run faster and u have no snow to worry about. The scene is huge and some meets get up to like 100 cars deep. There is an abundance of all cars and alot of bikes that race too. Make a vacation out of it. There are plenty of clubs down here that would prolly sponsor you cuz there are many out here.

its all good guys i just wanted to start some ****. "street racing" videos in general are boring as hell and have no purpose but to let cops know whats goin on. the fact that the trailer lacked content and all i saw was weed and a couple cars was a turn off.

i did go back and read about how you it will be a struggle to even get all the content that this guy wants. i can respect that. he does have some good editing skills. good luck
