Don't know if anyone has seen these as they are still unusual in the states. My sister ordered hers a year ago and it just came in. 1 Liter engine has a top speed of 90MPH. Apparently she gets stopped everywhere with questions about it.

I'm 6'6", 235lbls and I fit ok except for the steering wheel. Now if only we can get a turbo'd 13B in there...hahaha.

I know a lot of people don't like them, but i'm kinda a fan. They have a SMART dealer pretty close to where i live, so i see them quite a bit. Somebody in particular is putting a LOT of miles on their yellow SMART; because i see it everywhere.

 

I've seen 2 around town. When I went to German 2 years ago, they were all over the place.

I just saw one the other day here driving around. I think they're hideous and wouldn't be caught dead in one. I've been wondering how far one would go if I punt it with my truck.

i think that they are way to small and your basically a fish wating to be crushed in a tin can. IMO

 

ide take the diablo smart car over anything. i dont care what it looks like, a turbo hyabusa engine............owned.

What the hell is a "5 speed automated manual transmission"? Is it an automatic or a manual or one that shifts for you if you rev it too high?

 

it has a sequential gearbox and the diesel is very fun to drive. the cars were very popular in the beginning ofr advertising because they draw so much attention

 

Yeah those smarts are EVERYWHERE in europe....

I would NEVER EVER buy a diesel,...diesels are everywhere too here...
and that diesel sound is soo disgusting

 

a litre of gas in europe is somewhere ~270 (usd) per litre, makes it ~550 for a gallon. taking a guess really, i have no idea, all i know is its ridiculous.
