Single Turbo FD vs. Bullit GT Mustang

Hey everyone,
Here is a short video of me (single turbo FD) racing my friend's 2001 Bullit GT Mustang. The only mods he had were full exhaust, diablo chip, and intake. You can see all my mods in my signature. Obviously I smoked him, but what is funny is that he says he has never lost and smokes STi's and EVO's all day. In the race, he started in 2nd, while I started in 3rd... I thought it was suppose to be 3rd, and his torquey motor in 2nd obviously beat me for a sec, but then....the red rocket takes over.

make sure you have QuickTime - http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download

Thanks..
Nate

The car is running at 12 psi right now which is suppose to be about ~360whp. It is running hella rich now, and I am having it dyno tuned in 2 weeks, so I am hoping it will be putting down anywhere from 380-400whp.... I will keep you guys posted.

Peace out.

Besides the obvious mods you have, the Stangs weigh more and put less hp/liter.
I THINK even with a supercharger, he'll have problems keeping up.

The Bullitt 4.6L is just a GT modular motor w/ a different intake manifold and slightly less restrictive exhaust.

Beat one (intercooler, 12 psi s/c'ed) on stock twins. Up to about 100 mph it was close, and once I hit fourth gear he was in the rearview mirror and fadin' fast

Haha, yeah that was a pretty slow shift now that you mention it... usually my shifts are a little quicker than that. Hey, you are from Auburn? I am from Gig Harbor.. Hit me up on AIM - we should chat. Peace out.
