That was okay. wish he could have drove it. cars sound different went they are actually moving. and i wish i could've seen the engine.

The pics you posted are of the le mans 787b motor, not the scoots. Scoot did not use any sort or sliding periscope intake setup. Also the 787b made 700hp, the scoot motor didnt. I beleive the scoot motor was made using 12a parts. The video is wow almost 5 years old now

Actually the Scoot motor made about 682bhp I believe. Ill have to dig up the pic they put up for TAS one year stating this. Its amazing to see and hear race on a racetrack, im lucky I was able to see it with my own eyes this year outside Osaka. The car truly is amazing in person.

Imagine if they built a ported turbo 4 rotor. There's a video on youtube of a red FD launching at the dragstrip with a 4 rotor.....can you say bat out of hell?

You are completely correct, I think the Scoot four rotor is a one off 12A, I may be wrong on that, there is so little info on it. I just added the 787B motor to show Mazdaspeed's version.

The scoot 4 rotor is 2 12A engines put together with a 20B fat center iron and a custom eccentric shaft.

I got a ride in the Knightsports yellow circuit FD3S on the street and it had the Defi cluster. Amazing car.
