Yeah dude, I love your car !!!!

I got the skilz and resources to do a 700rwhp monster but something about the OEM twins set up refined and done well seems to fit this cars character much more. Cant realy butcher it cause its so signifacant a piece realy.

Brian is excitied about supplying me his special set and its in the pipe line as I type this, I will freshen up the engine as a precaution and port it while I am at it, also fit some special 2 piece 2mm NRS Ceramic seals that we sell to get every last little bit I can out of the package....... just tackle it bit by bit and will update this thread as it goes along I guess.

Serious your car rocks ! I did 472rwhp on one car I had before on the dynapack and would realy like to get near that same figure again on this real sports car See how we go

What is the "special set"?

Very entertaining vid, great car control. Almost like watching a WRC driver on pavement...

Thanks again

I like driving more than doing any mechanical work I'll tell you that much wanting to get serious with it in near future, with some practise I might get good at it?....

The turbo's are his BNR3's, I just asked him for the best set he can provide in parrallel config. See what turns up Going to run it at its maximum + some! with pre trubo water injection to lift their out put up a bit as well. Looking forward to it greatly. Got the OEM twin record at that track by a fair margin (1.5+ seconds) as it stands (even with that very rough lap) car will have a lot less weight and a decent increase in power + grip so see how I go

Wink

Charge reliefe valve? or BOV's are a totaly un necessary item on any turbo car, on the SP it was the first thing/s to go into the bin! My car is flawless, more smooth than a factory FD or any other I have been in. In my experience those valves do nothing but give you headaches and reduced performance....

Like I said any turbo car I work on be it customers or mine its scraped

On the intake side, everything under the bay is SP specification.

Mazda did not, the M1020 prototype from Japan landed here with its fibre glass body work and other stuff and Mazda Australia contracted out Carbon Man *off this forum* to manufacture the parts out of Carbon + other specialty items listed in his post, they are much stronger and lighter. All the bits were made so the special parts could be homologated for the 12hr race cars.

Its the smallest highest capacity Oddysey I could find it has 475CCA and runs the car fine for last 12 months (half the weight of light weight battery that was in car)

I cant remember exact modle number but its used for big bore mtorbikes and in rally cars etc. PC539??? dont know will check when get back home for you. Had to make specail cable and terminals are odd.

Some performance spec's of the car in stock form (just minor tuning realy nothing else) below... Am stepping it up to F40 levels of performance with help of BNR's and NRS seals etc, nothing major still on stock SP platform.

It may only seem like a little step up in performance, but I am sure it will be hard and challenging given I am sticking with stock based parts. See what happens

You might have heard this already, but have you ever thought about changing out your AST? Seems to be starting to discolor.

Thanks for the battery info, I noticed it is black on top. The odessey batteries I have tried are red. And I have had nothing but bad luck with them.

yes, I was talking about the charge relief valve.

it vents the boost the secondary produces while prespooling...since the back half of the y-pipe is (butterfly) closed. I was wondering if you had any issues with the secondary not spooling enough (due to backpressure) or a boost spike in when the y-pipe actuator released the built up pressure?!?!

needless to say, you car sounds awesome...you seem happy with it, interesting to say the least.

how much boost do you run and what kind of pattern are you seeing?

TIA (I know some of these questions in this thread could get annoying)

The car runs best with no valves at all. Boost is 0.95kg to 1.05kg all way through rev range, and spool is unbelievable, it will black track 1st, 2nd gear after leting clutch out and rolling onto throttle from 1000~1500rpm.

Driven it this way for 10000km

No issues what so ever. Power is within 10% of peak from 5000rpm to 8000rpm. Responce, well see video 1.5+sec per lap faster than any other twins based car at that track so am happy with it for that level its at but will be stepping it up as its a bit slow compared to what I am used to.

Questions? no problem happy to answer them if I can.

Slow as compared to what you are used to? What are you used to? Car is so badass! Loving the kangaroos on the wheel caps!
