I cant believe I just saw that. Thats just crazy to believe sombody would put all that work into that. No bodies even gonna believe that untill he pops the hood. Theyll think its that sound altering thing that was on pimp my ride.

His dash board was like, a foot in... lol... That's thinking outside the box, but it's questionable on wether this "THING" can now even turn, much less go fast through a corner.

It's a Civic body on a Corvette frame, all of the suspension, drivetrain, everything just fits on the Civic as they had the same wheel base. Of course, he had to move the dash, and make a little subframe in the back.

 

I don't care what it has under the hood....it still looks like a piece of ****.

 

Someone posted the buildup thread here on the forums a few months back.

As for whether or not it can handle. Hell yeah it can. that car is awesome. I'd rock that anyday of the week.

I followed the thread on Honda Tech. It's the entire corvette drivetrain into a EK shell.

You have to respect it because it took TONS of work. Basically cut out and re-did the enitire mid section of the car, as the LS1 has a rear-mounted tranny.

The owner is pretty ballin. He's got a Lotus Elise as his daily and I believe a built STi... he mentioned it pretty early on in the thread.

Oh, and his ex-wife was a huge hit on the boards. Lol.

 

well atleast now they can dorift a civic, and its fast too ... yes... civic and fast in one sentence.
