Old video, its actually in our section. That was one of the first drives we did after we finished the conversion, quite a while ago, un-tuned. At that point it was around 375 rwhp. With a conservative tune it resulted in 438 rwhp with a budget head/cam package. No videos after the tune but it was sure a fun car to drive...

I want to talk to the builder in order to make this useless thread with a boring video into an interesting thread comparing A-Spec Tuning's LS build to their Rotary builds and getting THEIR opinions on it.

Thanks
Rotary vs. LS-1 are two completely different vehicles. A fair comparison to this car would be a nice single turbo FD.
In the end it comes down to what type of power you like. The LS-1 has instant throttle response but does not have that progressive power band of a boosted vehicle that many have grown to like. While the v8 puts out the power, the comparable rotary *feels* faster at full tilt given the nature of a boosted power curve. Under normal driving conditions the v8 can be more fun given the power is instantly there, anytime you want it, and there is plenty of it. They both have approx. 4-5K rpm worth of power band, one stops at ~6600 and the other ~8000. They are both incredibly fun, it just depends on what type of person you are...
