This Monster streetcar will be driving on the streets of Sweden.
And its running on pumpgas Shell V-Power (99 octane).
Here is a movie clip on the dyno!
Hope you enjoy as much as possible!

Does that car still run ok on that power level??
I wanna build my roaddracecar to 550-600hp, too, using Shell V Power, but I´m wondering if (and for how long) it would hold permanent WOT ?
Anyone can give me a contact email to the swedish guys that tuned this car?
I would love to contact them and ask for a little help and tips.
Thanks !!

Nice numbers... I wish some of swedens tuner car enthusiasm would spread over here to Finland - most of the cars here are rice.
QWIK7:
In sweden, as in the rest of europe they use the RON octane rating as opposed to the average of RON and MON ratings used in the US... so basically the shell v power in sweden is the same octane as the stuff sold in the states. ex. 95 oct, regular in SWE, is about 91 by the US ratings system.

99 x 0.95= 94.05

Europe as well as Japan use RON (Research Octane Number) to determine the octane rating of their gasoline but in North America we use what's called AKI (Anti-Knock Index) to determine the octane rating. An easy way to do the conversion is to multiply the RON value by 0.95 and that will give you an idea of how it compares. So what they refer to as 99 octane is about the same as our 94 octane.
99 x 0.95= 94.05
99 x 0.95= 94.05
But the fueal is WAY cleaner!
That´s why we can run more boost.
For example, I can run 26 PSI on my Supra with a GT72 Turbo.
My AEM tuner (from the US) started with 18PSI, that´s what he runs pumpgas normally (in the US), but then was able to go up to 26 without seeing any knock.
I run that way since two years now, with a lot of Autobahn highspeed runs, dragraces and a road racing event.
I think the swedish guys are a little high with their hp.
Might be ok on the dyno, but I wouldn´roadrace that car
However, running 20PSI sure is possible, so about 480+ rwp sure can be done
perfectly safe.
Well, it SHOULD BE, as our V-Power pumpgas costs about as much as you US guys pay for C16 (which can do way more than the V Power)

No.
Justin is a VERY nice guy, though!
I´ve talked a lot with him, and he was always very helpful.
My car was tuned by John Reed @ REVV Motorsports.
He´s a friend of a friend of mine.
I must say, he did a VERY GREAT JOB.
The car ran perfect from the first startup on!
And it still runs great after nearly two years now!
