Revspeed super battle 2011
This was at Tsukuba circuit Japan. I have no idea what it's about or anything because I can't even find the website in English and I don't speak Japanese, but I took pics:
Apparently this car was fastest with a 54 second lap time. I have no idea who's car it is or what's in it though.
And get an earload of this Panspeed RX8. That rotary sounds good:

He's got air jacks
Must be a PITA to haul around that huge bottle of nitrogen though
This S2000 sounded gnarly with the ITB's, one of the loudest cars there
Top speeds and lap times, apparently a GTR had the fastest top speed but the RX7 won of course.
Some guy standing by tires he didn't pay for
Can anyone recognize the guy in silver and red in the upper left corner?

That rx7 that posted the best time of the day is the revolution RX7. That car is almost 100% carbon fiber and is a beast. It only ever loses to the cyber evo and sierra evo.

Yeah I just found the article online:
http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...d3s/index.html
That's a bad *** car, the specs don't do it justice. But still 520 PS is impressive. That's more than twice the stock output. This car seems all business. He dongiveafuck if the tranny cooler is sticking out of the rear bumper and looks ugly, it cools the tranny.
Funny thing is the driver was a guy with a pony tail from what I saw, and Yoshihiko Takeo certainly doesn't. I wonder if he had someone else drive? I remember watching them load this car onto the trailer. That's a 5 hour drive back home. Just 2 guys. They only came with 8 tires too. They just strapped it all down and drove off. It actually left me scratching my head. I remember going to rally events and we always had a before and after party at the rally headquarters. I remember being up until 1 am in the hot tub at some hotel (not drinking) while some of the drivers were drinking the night before the race only to get up at 5 am. Then they race all day and we have a dinner award banquet. They sure do things real differently out here in Japan. I didn't see a single beer ALL DAY and that is unfuckingimpossible at any racing event in America, even in the pits. Wheh... glad I'm not Japanese. If I ever compete in this my propane grill, a box of burgers, and a case of beer are coming with me. Sure I'll probably lose because I don't take it that seriously, but for me it's about something different.
