they put little smoke bombs under the rear to give the affect that the rear tires are smoking... some people even put lighter flints into the drifting tires to give the effect the tires are cording

All of those in the video are electrics. Almost everyone who drifts gets the electrics kits and go to town. I would imagine almost all of those were the Yokomo kits. I hit up Groovy Drift every once in a while to see what they're up to, it's good stuff. I have a HPI Nitro RS4 and it's hella fun, but I kinda wish I would have gotten an electric, since it would be far less of a hassle.

Yes, they are all electric.
Also, they're AWD.
The best tires: PVC piping. ABS plastic. Round the sides a bit>>>doriftoooooooo.
Ever seen the Singapore guys? They're pretty good too.
