the rb26 is way more expensive then the 25, thats like someone buying a bmw 3 series and then someone asking why they didnt go for the lambo, hahaha

also because the 25 is RWD while the 26 is AWD. so it would be impossible to mate a 26 to an FD.

^^^Haha what? You realize that the engine doesn't have anything to do with it being RWD or AWD right? No it wouldn't be impossible to put an RB26-DETT in an FD.

Wrong. the 26 has the same bellhousing pattern as the 25. Use the 5spd RB25tranny with the 26.

The RB26 mounts are slightly different too since front driveshaft runs along the same side the turbos are.
