Post-tuning test drive [vid]

heres a vid of my hbp'd and TO4R powered FC. I just got it back from getting tuned. I let my buddy take it for a test drive. The transmission was shot, so thats why it kept mis-shifting and whining. The first half is kinda a walk around and the second half we take it for a little drive.

just a warning, its 13 minutes long...

sorry for the shitty camera angles, I was trying to get the speedo maxed out while we were still coasting and slowing down.

Sexy idle

Video is too grainy for me to tell, did you use an REW UIM and adaptor plate for 13BT LIM, or is it a full REW motor?

No, but i have alot of pictures of the buildup and I can make one if you guys want.

its a street port with the secondary ports bridged. Essentially its a half bridge port. I say it the first way becase for some reason the japanese do not use a bridge and side port (streetport) at the same time. They usually go for a big street port OR leave the stock ports alone (maybe polish and clean them up a little) and just add a bridge. So when i tried to explain to the japanese guy what i wanted, he looked at me like i was crazy.

this is the way i had it explained to me: According to the japanese tuners, on a scale of 1-10, a sideport/streetport will get you to an 8. A bridge will get you to a 9. So its not really necessary to do both unless you really want to get to that 10.

Sounds good.

Why the jumpy idle with the clutch engaged?

I know you have a HBP but the idle changes when you clutch in as oppose letting it idle.

we were having problems adjusting the IACV on the back of the FD manifold. I eventually just took it off.

I didn't expect too see damage the next time I opened this thread! I like the new FC though. It looks a lot like the style the fellas and I run here in Team Denen. Gotta love the prices you get them for here Mine had only 30k on the motor, all built by ReAction Racing, when I first picked it up.
