pics of my turbo vert
No it still has a n/a rear end. It was a manual stock though. I am having The Rotary Doctor build it and he said they are fine for what im running and hes been into them for 30+ years. I also have all hardened mounts. I cant wait to get it back and drive it. My other car is a beat up old blazer and its no fun compared to boost.
Cant wait to get it back. I had just got a rebuilt tranny and new clutch and flywheel in the day it blew.

Its not all that bad. You would obviously need a turbo 2 motor, wiring harness. I used my n/a tranny and rearend as I was told by The Rotary Doctor who did the swap it would be fine. Hes been doing it for 30+ years. I used a Apexi Neo because if you take out our Ecu's then the top wont work. You also need the turbo cruise control parts if you want to keep it. You can also use the turbo drivetrain if you want, it will bolt right in. I have countless other little things like boost controller, turbo timer, wideband, boost and oil pressurer gauges, all hardend tranny and motor mounts and thats about it. Get a LSD too and a good tune. I am going to get mine tuned by Steve Kan at the end of March in St Louis. Top down boost is so much fun and we need another turbovert.
how did u come up with a turbo conv...it looks sharp...i have a conv thats a twin to urs sharp....but it none turbo....i would like for it to be tubo but from what i understand it takes a lot of changes to have made into a turbo..i love the turbos and boost u get from them. just wondering....larry
