Very nice! Reminds me of the last build I did.....had a couple of friends help me. We ran out of Vaseline, so we all hopped in the car to to the store to get more. When we got there we decided it would look pretty funny for all 3 of us to go in to the store and buy a large tub of Vaseline, so we drew straws!

 

kinda where im sitting at minus the turbo. looking good. I wouldnt tighten that turbo much youll have to remove it to mount the Intake manifolds!!!

 

lol.. we just put the turbo on just to get some pics.. We actually have to put the turbo/manifold on last(once the engine is in the car) because of the car being RHD.. if you look closely at the manifold you will see that we had to cut a "notch" into the wastegate pipe for the steering rack to get by it.

 

I forgot to ask. what are your HP goals with that turbo? Im kinda researching right now.

 

ahh not really looking for anything over 500.. not saying that the turbo couldnt do more. I was pushing about 450 on my last setup.. a 67-1 at .8kilo My car is set up for circut racing, so not looking for max HP..

 

what camera are you using?

 

Canon 5D and a 100mm lens. Sucks, all I have right now is the 100mm because my 2 other lenses wont work with the full sensor of the 5D.

haha.. hey man! Yea, after waiting 6 months for my turbo kit to get here from the states I'm finally rebuilding the engine. The old one lasted a long *** time.. but it finally gave out and I started getting oil and water mixing together.

 

Damn, I still need to rebuild the FD but funds have been short Post up some pics when its all done and kicking *** again. Done anymore mods to the body?(even though you dont need to Mr. R Magic)

 

Not at the moment.. I do plan on getting a carbon fiber rear hatch though. But yea, will definatly put up some more pics and mabey a video when its all done..
