Keep in mind, all of this is removable pretty easily. The whole flat black thing isn't for everyone. I love it on exotics, the more expensive the car the better it looks in flat black.

Wow, i'm with the TS on this. A vinyl covered car will probably be functional (less rock chips) and be cheaper than painting the car with a $6000 paint job.

To do it right, your probably looking at, at least $500-1000 in materials.
About rock chips and such. Typically the rock chips do tear the vinyl. So you'd have to put a small patch over the area, but most of the time the vinyl takes the brunt of the rock chip and theres not as much damage on the paint itself.

well....you see, the key is to use soapy water or something? yeah. i found out the hard way.....


oh and no it doesnt cost 500-1000 in parts. my total cost of ALL the vinyl was 53.00.
