photoshop pleace!

my friend has a rx2 but no paint and he wants to see this car candy apple red with black rims and red lip....and charcol gray with black rims and chrome lip? can anyone help him???

For me, I take the original picture, make a duplicate layer on top of it and then erase everything from the 2nd layer except the body of the car. After that I can select that layer which is now just the cars body and use the adjustments to change the color and contrast. If you want to do just the wheels or something you can just use the lasso tool to select the area around the wheel, then copy and paste it as a new layer on top of the original picture. Then just select that layer which is now just the wheel only and you can change the color and things. Its much easier to explain in person, haha.

Btw I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS2
